metro revealing these new details about what happened before their officers fatally shot a man. metro released the recording of the radio traffic, where their officers were told about the suspect u-s marshalls were tracking, keith childress... and they say he was wanted for murder. this is the body cam video showing when metro officers caught up to childress in a residential neighborhood. they say he consistently refused their commands to get down and show their commands to get down and show his hands, and they believed he had a gun. metro says that's when childress advanced towards them and they opened fire, killing him. yesterday, the undersheriff answered questions about the fatal shooting, including why officers had to use deadly force. these officers believed he was armed and number two,myopically not use taser believed to be confronting an armed suspect as well as the distance is far from rangemof a taser metro says childress was wanted in phoenix for multiple violent crimes, and that he was staying with a family friend here in las vegas. we now have the police report for that unlv student accused of murdering his own father, and the details are disturbing. police say last week, eugene tshiyombo shot his father in the head, and then hid him under his bed. the next day, tshiyombo's mom reported her husband missing,

inside their car she found her husbands shoes, glasses, and a bloody pillow. when the cops came that night they found the dad's body, and a handgun in eugene's room. detectives say the 21 year old told them he wanted to play video games at home alone, but his father always told him to get out more. tshiyombo is due in court tomorrow. it's day four of the intense standoff in oregon. it's the government versus an armed militia holed up in a federal building. the f-b-i is calling for a "peaceful ending" but the protestors say they're prepared to stay for as long as they need to. the fight is over two ranchers who were sentenced to prison after decades of fighting over public lands. the ranchers actually turned themselves in yesterday, and say they do not support the armed takeover. now the sheriff is demanding the protest end. sheriff dave ward, harney county sheriff "it's time for you to leave our community. go home to your families and end this peacefully."

"why weren't the boxes built more securely to begin with? i mean they are kind of flimsy. i could probably go down there with a screwdriver and just pop it out....the whole thing opens up! u-s-p-s told the woman - her neighborhood will not be getting a newer, more secure mailbox because it wasn't really damaged. a routine test drive turns into a near death experience for a car salesman in texas... but thankfully his quick thinking saved his life! police in houston say two men came into a honda dealership and asked to test drive a dodge challenger. during the drive, they stopped the car and forced the salesman into the trunk at gunpoint. the next time they stopped, the salesman was able to pop the trunk from the inside. he got out and fought with the leaving him stranded and badly injured. "he was really bad.

and her wild arrest was caught on camera. it all started around 12-30 yesterday when police say the woman ran her truck into a light pole, near bonanza...and main and just took off. then they say she hit another car at pecos and stewart. chopper 13 was first over that scene to give us an aerial view of the damage. then finally, police say she caused a five car crash at lamb and sahara. she tried to take off again, but witnesses followed her... until police came. one of the witnesses gave us this video of officers pulling the woman out of her truck. they say she was not going down without a fight. sot dominick duffy, witness

because she kept trying to kick an officer here you see them trying to hold her down. one person involved in the accidents had to be taken to the hospital, but they are espected to be okay. today... friends and loved ones of the man killed while riding his motorcycle... are coming together at the scene of the crash to remember him. a vigil is being held at 8 o'clock at the corner of jones and peak for 47 year old sheldon cooper. officers say he was riding his motorcycle last sunday night, when a female driver pulled out in front of him. report-vm one of the murder suspects accused of killing a man in the parking lot of a 24 hour fitness.. confesses to police, and tells them everything. according to the arrest report for megan hippie, she told detectives her and kyle staats were breaking into cars in the parking lot near rainbow and alta last week. she says they tried to rob the victim neil gardner at gunpoint.. but he was asleep. hippie says it was staat's who fatally shot gardner, and then they both drove off. both of them are due in court this morning.

these three teens charged with breaking into a home, robbing and sexually assaulting the person inside. prosecutors say it happened back in january, at a house near gomer and el capitan. it looks like the case against ammar harris may finally be over. the self-proclaimed pimp convicted for the deaths of three people has officially been sentenced to die. the formal sentencing yesterday took just minutes, but it was still an emotional moment for the family members of the victims killed in that shooting and fiery crash on the strip years ago. tehran boldon, victim's brother 9:36:21-9:36:34 "this man is alive. he should be dead. it's the death penalty. do it and quit playing. talking about how much it costs... who cares how much it costs? what about the cost to my family?" harris did not speak at all during his sentencing. as of right now, there is no word on any appeals being filed for him. right now...
