in henderson ends with a car crashing into the chamber of commerce building... and a man being dragged away in handcuffs. police say a man tried to steal a car at the sonic near boulder highway and lake mead. he was unsucessful. so he ran to a nearby walmart and took a car there. police tried to pull him over, but he crashed into two cars before bailing out of the car. it then crashed into the commerce building. the suspect was arrested and we're sure he's facing a list of charges. yegge)gfx a ccsd teacher accused of having an inappropriate relationship... but now we're hearing from another woman who claims she was sexually assaulted by the teacher years ago. brittany freer says she was a friend of kristy yegge's, and back in 20-12... she says yegge took advantage of her. 11.07.52.00 "once i went over to her house she proceeded to give me prescription drugs, and because i was in a hyper emotional state i took." freer says she fell asleep and awoke to yegge undressing her, t becuase of the drugs... she says she didn't have the

is speaking out from his jail cell. it's a story you'll only see on action news. nye county deputies say paul applegate confessed to them that he opened fire on his neighbor's house... with the intention of taking them out--because he believes they killed his mom's pomeranian. but in our exclusive jailhouse interview, applegate says he never confessed. and he was on drugs when he was talking to police. "i was high on crack and i was high on meth. i did not do the shooting at all. all i know is i'm an innocent man being in jail." during the interview applegate says time and time again... that he never opened fire on his neighbors, and he has no problem with them.

well now many are turning to the man who put three members of the p-u-c in charge... governor brian sandoval. our investigative team asked him what he thought about the claims that these rate changes will kill the solar industry in nevada. 10:10 gov: certainly they're my appointees, but it's very important to emphasize they're an independent board. they're a quasi-judicial board. it would be improper and perhaps illegal for me to interfere with their process (butted with) 14:03 gov: there's a very important balance here. you have 17,000 rooftop solar customers. you have 700,000 approximately nv energy customers who are essentially subsidizing that. according to n-v energy it's about one dollar and 8 cents a month that non-solar customers in southern nevada are paying to subsidize their solar neighbors. the governor says he is committed to helping the laid off solar workers find jobs, and says that any solar customers who are unhappy with the puc's decision can file an appeal.
