and now we're hearing from the young boy who woke up to find the men with knives and guns inside his bedroom! (butted with) (sot, sean kilcoyne) "i was most worried about my dad." the boy's dad.. ray kilcoyne says he was making dinner saturday night, when all of the sudden he was surrounded by four armed men. he says they hit him in the face, and then they bound him and two others hands and feet with duct tape. he says they wanted money in a safe, but it was empty and kilcoyne didn't know the combination. that's when they threatened his son. (ray kilcoyne) "i'm going to kill your son if you don't tell me." (butted with) (takesot ray kilcoyne) right as he opened the door and ready to take one step into my son's room the cops starting screaming this is las vegas police department the man says he broke his fingers trying to stop the men from getting away. police are stil searching for all of them.

our roads... in just 48 hours-- we've lost 7 people in traffic accidents all across the valley. the latest happened around noon yesterday in north las vegas. here you can see the destroyed suv on its side, after police say it drove off a bridge near the union pacific railroad tracks. two people in the car, a man driving and a female passanger were both killed on impact. witnesses told police the man was speeding, before he lost control and went right off the road. officers are now looking into if alcohol was also a factor. just hours before that... a cadillac driver died after rear ending a semi on the i-15 southbound near the 95. the man inside the cadillac was pronounced dead at the scene. the semi driver was not hurt. nhp had to shut down lanes on the 15 for almost 6 hours while they investigated. saturday night, two people were killed and another is recovering with serious injuries...

at boulder highway and d-i. police say an 81 year old woman driving a dodge dart made a left hand turn infront of a pickup truck. the woman and her 83 year old passenger died at sunrise hospital. meanwhile, a bus rider is now calling for change... after another one of those deadly accidents this weekend. in this one, a woman was killed, after an rtc bus crashed right into the bus stop... christopher castilow says the bus driver was doing fine, when all of the sudden he went up onto the curb, right into a bus shelter... hitting a woman waiting for a ride. castilow says the driver didn't realize he had run over a person at first... and stopped a few hundred feet later. then when everyone realized what happened... the driver was extremely distraught. "it was pretty gruesome. it was not something you would have wanted anyone to see." reports of serious injuries. the armed militia lead by nevada rancher ammon bundy have now been in control of that wildlife refuge in oregon for more than a week... well this morning-- we're learning how they're actually spending their time there. the group says they keep themselves busy by cleaning the cabins, doing maintenance and catagloging. you know, we want to be good stewards. this is no our property. so, to be good stewards we wanted to show our good faith and just start doing some constructive things, just like cleaning the sidewalks. and the group plans to stay their for the long haul. this weekend, the ammon bundy's mother has been sending emails to supporters asking them to send the group any supplies they can. the militia says they aren't leaving until the government transfers control of the land back to locals. time now is x:xx --- up next...

crews think it started on the second story before spreading to the attic. they were able to knock it out in just about 30 minutes, but it still caused about 150 thousand dollars worth in damage. no word if anyone was hurt. right now, police need your help finding a missing teenager. this is 15 year old brooke mccarthy. metro says she was last seen around eastern and pecos on tuesday. she has several earrings in both ears and two 3- inch scars on her right leg due to a surgery on her femur. if you see her, or think you may have seen her... please call police. in just about an hour... former clark county commissioner tom collins is due in court to deal with his dui arrest. collins was taken into police custody last month on suspicion of drunk driving, after a multiple car crash on flamingo and koval on a friday night during n-f-r. collins announced back in august that he was resigning as commissioner, citing family reasons. also at the courthouse today, the trial continues for otis holland, the former pastor accused of sexually assaulting girls in his congregation at the united faith church.

to all of his charges, including sexually assaulting a child. already multiple women have testified against him, but the former pastor is expected to take the stand to defend himself. if convicted, he faces life in prison. breaking right now... the case of the missing toddler known as "baby doe" is hitting the courtroom. one of the prime suspects, michael patrick mccarthy... the boyfriend of the girl's mom... is scheduled to be arraigned... which means he'll formally get charges in connection to the murder of baby doe. she was later identified as a girl by the name of bella bond. you may remember bond was found in a bag on a deer island shoreline in the boston harbor in summer of last year. her identity remained a mystery for months and her computerized picture was seen more than 40 million times on social media. :58-1:06 "we would like to invite you to attend the state of the union next week.
