pepper spraying a crowd of students at el dorado high school. the officer was trying to arrest an -8-th grader..... for tresspassing on high school property... and... his sister got involved. action news anchor... jacqui heinrich breaks down the video for us... this video shows the moment a clark county school district police officer took out his pepper spray and hit the crowd, dispersing the students surrounding his squad car. school authorities said it all began when an 8th grade student was caught trespassing at the high school...was told to officer...kids recording everything on their phones (nats screaming) "what made you want to pull out your cell phone? that he was hitting him" at about :14 seconds in...you can see what appear.right before he pulls out the pepper spray. however another video shot from a different angle...does not show that rock....although its not clear if the second video was taken at the same time as the first...if not....that could indicate the officer
was hit....or contined to do it afterwards. school police made no mention of a rock in a statement released to action news describing what happened. some students are still upset..having been suffering with burning eyes and throats for hours. out of school early yesterday when he saw four strangers carrying televisions out his neighbor's house. he called police and they soon spotted the suspect's car. while the suspects were driving to get away from the officers...they crashed at cheyenne and rancho -- not too far from the burglarized home. they hit and injured three pedestrians -- including a child. three of the suspects were hurt as well and all six people went to the hospital. they're all expected to be okay. as for the boy who called the police... he's proud of himself for quickly taking action. 19:09:23 omar torres "if i never called, who knows what could've happened?" butted with 19:08:34 "it's scary to know televisions... video game consoles and several other electronics. the owners telling action news, it was all destroyed in the crash. an update to breaking news this morning.... explosion nats :03 at least 23 people are dead in the west african nation of burkina after al qaeda
