legionnaires' disease is the latest health issue linked to

water in flint, michigan. the city's mc-laren hospital says it found low levels of legionnaires bacteria in its water system. hospital administrators saw a spike in legionnaires cases after the city switched to a different water source...two years ago. the switch was also linked to an increase in lead levels in water, which created a citywide crisis. since then-- some patients have died. but a state health official says there's still no evidence the water source change-- caused the legionnaires' cases. the disease is a respiratory infection usually spread through mist. close to three-hundred colonoscopy patients in massachusetts may have been exposed to a potential deadly disease. the patients received the procedure at baystate noble hospital in westfield in 20-12 and 20-13. officials say there was a possibility to exposure to h-i-v, as well as hepatitis "b"

that's because the colonoscopy instruments were not properly disinfected. but the hospital still says there's relatively little chance that patients were actually infected. (dr. stanley strzempko, baystate noble hospital): "i am extremely confident that patients were at low risk, but now our job is to be certain that there were no patients harmed. that's the testing phase. hope to have that wrapped up in days to weeks." the hospital has notified the patients that they need to be screened for those diseases. straight ahead... is hillary clinton feeling the pressure in new hampshire and iowa? we'll show you how she's reacting to bernie sanders' latest surge in the polls. you're watching good morning las vegas on channel 13. we'll be right back on this saturday
