good afternoon. i'm rikki cheese. we just got that arrest report for jillian lafave. action news reporter lesley marin is live from valley high school on what actually happened between this teacher and student. we're told it was inside a special education resource classroom here at valley high school where this teacher and this 17 year old student met multiple times-- on occasion even engaging in several lewd acts. today metro released this photo of the teacher-- jillian lafave-- who was on her first year here at valley high school as a special education resource teacher. according to a metro police report-- lafave is the students english and special education teacher-in charge of monitoring his progress. the student-- is believed to have a learning disability. according to records-- lafave and the student started texting back in october-- and have since exchanged 13- thousand texts-- most sexual in nature. the student and la fave both also admitted to kissing on multiple occasion here at the school-- but said they never had sexual intercourse. we did speak to one student

who says there are a lot of rumors swirling about this situation today. "they are saying that they are alive and that really didn't happen" butte "but she seems like a really nice teacher and not like a teacher that would do something like that" lafave was arrested on the 15th but posted bail shortly after we're told that she was sent on leave but is still being paid by the district. we were also told by students-- that the school just sent this letter out today-- about the situation. live from valley high school lesley marin channel 13 action news. new information on friday's police shooting at the bellagio fountain show. officers released today the 9-1-1 calls, surveillance video and arrest report. action news anchor jessica janner has new video and audio, plus what we're learning about the suspect. lklive yeah earlier this morning police in here telling all of us and the public

bellagio... but the most important and powerful moment happened first police expressing their sorrow toward the innocent bystanders that were hit during all of that confusion especially a 4 year old child that ws just sitting on his father's shoulders sot - "we're very relieved that the injuries sustained and that full recovery is expected. we're accountable for every round that we fire." track - this morning police releasing brand new video of what happened... the man spotlighted is 20 year old khaleal black who you can see holding a gun in what prompted friday night's shooting at the bellagio fountain also police releasing 911 phone calls. sot - "there's a black male adult waving a gun in the middle of the street he has a grey hoodie on about 6 foot 2." also we know the gun he was waving around was stolen... and that he pointed it at several people including a him. reporting from metro

channel 13 action news. and now an update on a story we first brought you as it was breaking-- gunfire reported at the naval medical center in san diego. the whole facility was shut down. gates for the facility have just re-opened. but, authorities say they found no evidence of an active shooter. (capt curt jones) "as of right now we have found absolutely nothing to indicate that shots were fired. there are no casualties at this time." it all started at around 8-am... when there were reports of 3 gunshots. everyone in the area was told to run, hide or fight. nearby schools were even locked down. but again, no one was hurt, and no gunman was found. now to a story you'll only see on action news -- a man outraged because it took hours for police to respond when someone broke into his house in mountain's edge. now, we're getting to hear his 9-1-1 calls...which tell a different story! are now joining in to help the people living there. they're sending more than 6-million bottles of water specifically to the students affected. people in flint haven't had clean tap water since 20-14, after it was contaminated with toxic levels of lead. state and federal officials have struggled to provide clean water for residents. breaking news here in las vegas-- a police shooting in the north eastern part of the valley. take a look at your screen- here's a map of where it happened, at pecos and bonanza. we know a suspect has been shot. but no injuries to officers have been reported. and action news has a crew headed there. we'll update you as soon as we get more. happening today, ammon bundy and the armed militia in oregon will meet the sheriff. the sheriff is trying to find a peaceful resolution to the standoff. a county judge ruled there will be no more community meetings, until the armed standoff at the wildlife refuge is over. the judge says people's safety is at risk since the protestors carry guns. now to a consumer alert from contact 13-- ford is recalling nearly
