got. before you head out the door you better get yourself prepared for some winter weather. from here in the valley all the way to pahrump where they're seeing snow! and in overton.. where they're dealing with some messy flooding.. our team is all over this morning bringing you live coverage. but first we want to start with the man tracking the storms... morning meteorologist greg bennett! low pressure continues to spin up some interesting weather the next 24 hrs. this morning scattered showers both light to moderate with a few possible moments of heavy rain are expected through at least 9 am this morning. with snow levels dropping to summerlin, enterprise, centennial hills, henderson, and boulder city. these areas should not see an inches last night and another trace to 1.5 inches this morning looks possible. minor pooling back in the valley and wet/slick roads will concern will be the winds. a wind advisory is up for the

witnesses tell police around 6 yesterday morning, the man got off the bus near camino al norte and lone mountain. then he tried to run to the other side of the road to get on another bus, when he was police say the 18 year old driver who hit him stayed at the scene, and was not injured. officers do not believe speed was a factor in the crash. the n-f-l is now speaking out about the possibility of the oakland raiders moving here to las vegas... and it's definitely not what you would think they'd say! the memo was sent to the p-r directors for all 32 teams.. in it says, "there is no prohibition under league rules on a team moving to any particular city. any proposal for relocation would be evaluated based on the same standards that apply to any proposed move." what it's saying is that if a proposal to move the raiders to vegas was made... the nfl would give us the same consideration as any other

last minute pitch to voters. almost all of the white house contenders held events there last night.. from celebrities to family... each of them using very different secret weapons to try and boost their support. kentucky senator rand paul brought along his father, former presidential candidate ron paul. hillary, had former president clinton and her daughter chelsea with her. trump.. had his daughter ivanka and wife milania.. and cruz... had a reality t-v star. (3 duck calls) iowa is not just crucial for the caniddates because it's first... history shows that since the 1970's three republicans, and five democrats who won there have gone onto win their party's nomination. for the gop candidates trump has a slight lead, with ted cruz in second. on the other side, clinton and sanders are basically tied. meanwhile, nevada's caucus is just two weeks away, and the culinary union is now

backing any of the presidential candidates. the group says it's focusing on the general election instead. the union represents nearly 60 thousand casino workers in the valley. leaders say they are encouraging all their members to vote. two college students in virgina... now behind bars facing murder charges for the death of a 13 year old girl. police say 18 year old david eisenhauer knew the victim, and used that relationship to his advantage. the teen girl was last seen on wednesday, after her parents said she climbed out of her bedroom window. hundreds of volunteers searched for her for days. her body was found saturday. the female student is being charged as an accessory. police believe she helpd eisenhouer dispose of the girl's body. both of them are being held without bail. after 8 days on the run... those three inmates in california are all back behind bars this morning. authorities say they got an anonymous tip saturday night, from someone who spotted the

were hiding out in. it was 400 miles away from the jail they broke out of. after spotting the believed ringleader... officers were quick to get him in handcuffs. "i heard the police tell him to get on the ground." (butted with) "'get on the ground! get on the ground!' i knew right then that that was more than a homeless person. and then i saw, kind of saw the complexion of the guy that was in, on the internet and the newspapers." the other fugitive was hiding inside the van. officers also found ammunition in there. the third escapee had turned himself in on friday. authorities say all of them will be in more secure cells, and they can guarantee they will not be together. new overnight.. one of ammon bundy's supporters is now out of jail in oregon. shawna cox, one of the 11 protesters arrested last week was released late last night. her husband told our abc affiliate in salt lake city that she was only helping occupiers with paperwork, and

and that she was not part of the militia. on friday a judge ruled bundy and his followers would be denied bail until all of the protesters had left the wildlife refuge. there are still about 4 people there, so it's unclear why cox was released. meanwhile rallies are being planned for today.. to protest the death of militia member lavoy finicum. a memorial with flowers now mark where the arizona rancher was killed by fbi agents. and even though ammon bundy has called for his supporters to stand down and go home... this issue has left the oregon community very divided. sot- ryan mingus: "the people aren't going to take this stuff it's time to stand up." sot- ryan mingus: "there is a lot of outsiders coming in, the more the merrier." (butted say, we don't want them out there." the community members also say they are ready for the fbi and federal law enforcement to leave their quiet town. and they know that won't happen until all the protesters are gone.

out of control near los angeles. we're learning from our affiliate there are at least 120 fire fighters battling this fire. this is south of glendale and north of los angeles...in a factory. you can see just giant flames coming from the building. the problem is the fire is being fueld by combustible storage and propane containers. earlier we saw fire fighters actually going inside. no word if there are people inside. time now is x:xx --- up next.. we're not the only ones getting blasted by mother nature.

(butted with) jed: a lot of cars the ditches, lots of accidents. one rollover with people we got out, just skidding and fishtailing. officials say the snow plows are working around the clock trying to keep the streets clear for drivers. and in california... the powerful storms turned deadly. a person was killed by a falling tree in san diego. strong winds ripped down the giant oak tree... crushing four cars. crews worked for hours and hours trying to clear the scene. and they'll be cleaning up in los angeles as well this morning... power lines..
