but he kept going! we're told there were flames and sparks shooting from the rims. this is video from our traffic camera where it all ended at warm springs. the man was taken into custody and gunpoint, and we're told he even tried to fight people once he got to jail. no word yet on what charges he'll be facing, and why he tried to flee in the first place. we're getting more information about the man killed in a traffic accident during the middle of rush hour. chopper 13 was first over the scene of the crash at cheyenne and buffalo around 6 last night. police say a 60 year old man was driving, when he lost control, crossed multiple lanes in front of on-coming traffic, and crashed into a pole. they say he may have had a medical episode before the accident, but they're waiting for the coroner to confirm that. a woman was also in the van, but she was not hurt. metro is apologizing for a system failure that caused

two of them are under 16. kim was already behing bars accused of lewdness, sexual assault, and use of a minor in pornography... for kidnapping the teen from bullhead city. in december, the girl escaped from his home in north las vegas and went to the police, who arrested kim. metro is still searching for answers as to why a man was shot and killed early yesterday morning. you'll remember we broke this story for you. it happened around 3 in the morning near charleston and fremont, and the man called 9-1-1 himself. police don't have a motive or a suspect, so they're asking anyone with information to please come forward. today.. officers will be hosting an outreach event in the neighborhood where that murder happened. they'll be joined with members of the community hoping to spread a message of peace. there will also be a free barbecue. the event is from 10 this morning until noon at the corner of euclid and russell. new overnight... more security officers are being sent to national wildlife

investigators are notifying any people he could potentially target, along with those close to him. the sheriff's department says after he's caught, they will be doing a thorough review to see how this mistake could have been made. we're hearing from the cab driver who was kidnapped and held captive for a week by those three escaped inmates. the taxi driver says it started on a friday night when he picked them up, and then they made him drive them all over. they even took him inside their hotel rooms, where he said a gun was always pointed at him. "i always think 100 percent i would die. even when i was in the car with ..(inaudible).. i know that i was still alive." after two of the inmates fought over killing him, one of them eventually drove him back to southern california and let him go. all three fugitives are now back behind bars.
