13 action news reporter parker collins is live near nellis and boulder highway to show us what's happening now. parker? things only just got back to normal... but this was scary. people were reaching out to us in the newsroom for answers. they were pushed out of the store without answers. we found out someone wrote a bomb threat on the wall in the women's restroom. so the whole store was emptied... the dogs called out. police didn't find anything... but families had no way of knowing that... as they rushed out of the store.

station. ahead today... a former metro officer is expected to be sentenced for posessing and distributing child pornography. police found dozens of images of children in 50-year-old patrick taylor's home. they were on hard drives...ipods and c-ds. taylor served on the department from 1989 until last june. after a teen is hit by a car on his way to school...there's growing concern about dangers of one intersection. that teen is still recovering this morning. we brought you this story as it was breaking on good morning las vegas yesterday. it happened near lake mead and rampart....in an area neighbors say they see a lot of accidents. 4:37:15-4:37:22 "he was listening to music and he had his head down. when i seen him i swerved to the right to avoid him and i clipped one of his legs." make me feel more safe and comfortable... people crossing and everything. in fact, i have to go out this way myself sometimes... and you got to wait trying to get across there." the driver in this crash could face misdemeanor charges.

one person took it a little too far. this was the scene at a therapy center near spring mountain and jones. a car drove right into the center while people were right in the waiting room. one of the massage therapists there says the driver of that car was a patient running late for an appointment. 1403 41 to 1403 46 "the patients in the waiting room were screaming as well scared scared" the therapist-- says the drivers foot got stuck on the gas pedal. now to an action news update on a deadly crash near rainbow and spring mountain. we brought you this story as it was breaking on good morning las vegas last month. police now say the driver at fault has died. victor sandoval was likely speeding and driving drunk when he took off from police, ran a red light, and hit another car, killing the driver. a man in a wheelchair hit & killed while waiting for the morning. there's a memorial near the corner and lake mead and rancho for jason daonhue. the 68 year old was killed last wek when a driver ran into the bus stop.
