daughter and finances side - after people broke into their home - and opened fire. hours after the shooting - she posted this to facebook : early this morning my family fell victim to a brutal home invasion. my daughter was shot near a main artery and my fianc stephen was shot 8 times. they are both fighting hard and are both currently on life support and listed as critical but stable condition. down the people responsible. so far they have found 2 guns... ...and think 2 or 3 people may have been involved.... ...and right now, they are still on the loose. live from umc yasmeen hassan 13 action news.

ends with a man dead... and a woman in police custody. now police have to figure out if this was self-defense or not. officers came out to the home near lone mountain and the 215 last night around 7-30, after getting calls from neighbors saying they heard arguing, and then a gunshot. metro says the man killed was in his 30's. the woman in her 50's. they had been dating for a few years. lt dan mcgrath, metro "she indicated that she was the victim of a domestic violence situation where she has been struck and there was not question to whether she was the one who shot him." the woman has not been arrested, just detained. neighbors tell us they never knew the couple had any problems. this morning, metro is working to figure out what led to a man being stabbebe inside a home last night near lamb and carey. this happened around 10. we're told the man was stabbed in the leg, and he's expected to recover. right now police don't have a suspect or a motive for the crime.

found the driver believed to be behind the wheel when a two year old girl was hit and killed on sunday. because police are still doing forensic tests to confirm the white van they found.. is the one that hit evelyn green sunday night. police say they are also still interviewing witnesses. three floors of the luxor hotel evacuated for hours.. after a suspicious liquid is found inside a room. chopper 13 was flying over-- you can see all the fire trucks and crews called in to investigate. this video from inside the hotel, only given to 13 action news... shows fire and hazmat along with security.. working to figure out if the situation was safe. metro says it was housekeeping staff who found the suspicious liquid, and alerted hotel authorities. that's when they brought in all the crews. our number one goal is keeping our community safe. whether its a hotel on the strip or a residence in a neighborhood. and that's why you see the abundance of resources out here. eventually the liquid was
