metro says around midnight someone called 9-1-1 saying they saw two people they didn't recognize in someone's backyard near durango and elkhorn. once officers got to the scene the suspects took off. metro set up a perimeter, and searched the whole neighborhood for them. they did manage to track them down, and both people taken into custody. and just hours before that... a car crashes right through a cement wall, near a house on the corner of maryland parkway saw a man getting arrested. we're still working to confirm that with metro. a fire breaks out inside a man's kitchen, but instead of waiting for firefighters... he decides to try and put the flames out himself! the blaze broke out around 9 last night, near charleston and nellis. brent mcfarlane tells us it was a pot on the stove, that caught on fire.
