"you asked us... to investigate". stephanie... unsurprisingly, everyone who has had contact with rudy maintains that they took good care of him and he is healthy.....so should this picture be a red flag? and if so, who's to blame? the 13-pound rhodesian ridgeback rudy is absent from the cages. petland says he's not for sale until he gains weight. we traced his history back to arkansas where he was born. the breeder elisa brandvik was completely shocked....said he looked like he hadn't been fed for some time. brandvik kept one of his sisters and showed us a picture of her..... this is his littermate nadine. brandvik says rudy was in perfect health when she sold him to the distributor. if he wasn't, she says they would not have bought him. so we called pinnacle pet, the distributor out of missouri. they said the vet at their facility deemed him healthy enough for travel. his paperwork says on february 8th, he was about nine weeks old weighing almost 15 pounds.
