"we're not trying to get anybody in trouble we just want sincere's helmet back." the sister says she drives a honda civic, and she was parked in front of macy's at meadows mall when it was taken. they're hoping to get the helmet back before the boy's funeral on thursday. a man is fighting for his life this morning, after being hit by a car. this happened near lake mead and rancho around 7-30 last
trauma in critical condition. police don't know if he was in a crosswalk or not when he was hit, but the driver involved stayed at the scene. the husband, of the woman killed in that horrific crash on the strip is speaking out about that night.. for the first time. yesterday would have been birthday. her husband axel says the couple had been on las vegas boulevard for about 5 minutes, when she was hit and killed. 06.42 "it just happened so fast, but i don't want to talk about that." the couple was in town from arizona celebrating their tenth wedding anniversary in december. jessica was the only person killed. police say lakeisha holloway intentionally drove into the crowds of people. 06.05 "i know she is in a way better place. i know she is in heaven." she leaves behind three children...
done antything for. a family struggling to understand why they lost their 12 year old little girl is now turning to the law for help. it's a story you'll only see on 13 action news. maxine zepeda-lopez's family says they're consulting a lawyer, because they believe something went wrong before her death. her mom says she came home with a stomach ache and neck pain last week. they took her to spring valley hospital where she was only prescribed nausea pills. hours later, they rushed her to umc... where doctors told them it was maybe a virus. after a few days, maxine passed away. christina lopez, mother of maxine "there's no way that i'm not gonna not do anything about it because i could not wish this upon anybody" we reached out to nevada health district, but they told us they are not investigating the case. the coroner is still running tests to determine her cause of death. in just hours... nevada rancher cliven bundy will face a federal judge in oregon.
was arrested last wednesday at an airport in portland, while he was on his way to visit his sons in jail there. the rancher's charges stem from his armed standoff with the government at his bunkerville ranch in 20-14. the f-b-i hasn't said why it took so long to bring the charges against him. you can see the wreckage. police say the driver in the black car failed a sobriety test. they arrested him. they say he ran a red light. the other driver died this whole intersection is shut down... i've seen people having to make u turns to avoid it. i just spoke with the passenger in the black car... who couldn't believe what had happened.
