why their officer opened fire on a man. 13 action news reporter yasmeen hassan is live near las vegas boulevard and st. rose with the latest on the investigation. officers say they got out here, and saw a man with a gun - just pointing it at traffic..... ...but now we know, that gun wasn't real. real or not - people in this area had no idea what to think. they were terrified this guy was just going to start shooting at random cars. metro says officers rushed out here - tried over and over again to get the man to put the gun down. they were talking to him in english and spanish....but nothing worked. tyjay germany witness they told him a lot of times but he never put the gun down and then there was one shot to the shoulder. no officers were hurt...and that suspect is expected to be okay.

(keone bassett, lives next to squatters, 14) "there has been many in the front, in this building over here, there used to be some jumping from the back." thousands of women have reported serious health problems. the fda is now forcing "essure" to have a warning on it's box letting women know of serious health risks. one woman says after using "essure" she developed a cyst, and had to have multiple surgeries, including a hysterectomy at age 38. kimberly hughes "you'd go to get tests and they'd say nothing is wrong, but i'd say how can it hurt so much and they didn't have answers." essure has also been linked to ec- topic pregnancies and miscarriages. the fda is also forcing the drugmaker further study the device. flu season is in full swing, but how do you know if your child's sickness is taking a deadly turn? difficult breathing is a huge red flag. blue fingernails mean they're not getting enough oxygen. a stiff neck could be
