fight with another man. police say the two were drinking near horizon ridge and green valley overnight. detectives say both men started fighting and one of them grabbed a gun and shot at the other. the victim was hit and took off. he showed up a desert springs hospital with a gunshot wound to his upper back. the shooter did stay on the scene and police say he is no charges have been filed yet. meanwhile, metro is looking for the suspect behind a seperate shooting near sahara and las vegas boulevard. this one happened overnight as well. overnight, people living near owens and j street were woken up because of a gas leak. neighbors were forced to leave their apartments around midnight. firefighters think a meter might've been hit by a car, but police say shots were fired in the area... and now they are looking into whether a bullet hit the meter. nobody was injured and we're

metro is investigating a suspicious death this morning. we're told a body was found near eastern and hacienda around 5 yesterday afternoon. police are stopping short of calling this a homicide and haven't released details on the victim. we'll keep you updated on this as information comes down. "this a tragic event...all the way around.. three people are dead this morning.. two others are in critical condition after a bad rollover on the 15 near the valley of fire. troopers say this likely could've been avoided i of the people were wearing seatbelts. we're told the driver veered off the road and hit a pole before overcorrecting and rolling. viewer video shows fire coming from the car immediately after the wreck. four people were ejected from the car..three of them died instantly including the driver. troopers don't think anyone was wearing seatbelts. "it just takes 2 seconds to put that seatbelt on and maybe this whole situation could've been avoided." the crash slowed traffic on the

an australian were driving when they were stopped by gunman this morning. afghan security officials say one gunman broke the passenger side window with his gun and took the two men. their driver and bodyguard were left unharmed. this incident comes just after six tourists were injured in afghanistan last week when a rocket struck their vans. the taliban claimed responsiblity for that attack. having a major impact on another business- external batteries. abc's kendis gibson and diane macedo have today's tech bytes. < ((kendis/2shot)) in today's tech bytes... pokemon go's assault on your battery. investigators in kansas are looking into what caused a young boy to die while riding the world's tallest water slide over the weekend. caleb thomas schwab was just 10- years-old and the son of a state lawmaker. he was killed yesterday on the slide which sits at 17 stories..and reaches speeds of 50 miles an hour. caleb's mom and dad released a statement last night, expressing their heartbreak. meanwhile..park officials are saying they aren't sure what caused the tragedy.
