clark county commissioner steve sisolak and gaming executives. we will tell you the end result was that adelson agreed to remove a proposed 15-percent rate of return. adelson still won't budge on the 750-million dollars worth of public funding. 13 action news political anayst john ralston has all the details in story published on our website... and ahead at today's stadium meeting...that's set to start at 1.....developers will give if they do get a funding plan decided, they'll move onto how to get everything approved by lawmakers. the stadium comittee will also be talking about a tax increase to pay for more police officers. the plan is to raise the sales tax by one-tenth of a percent. that's about an extra penny on every ten dollars you spend. committee leaders say spending

morning at alpine high school-- roughly 200 miles southeast of el paso. the preliminary information indicates that a female student shot another female student in a bathroom and may have then taken her own life, a law enforcement source told abc news. the shooter died from what wounds. the other student is still alive, dodson said. an officer was apparently shot as well in what appears to be an accidental shooting natvo :05-:10 more than a hundred people held an anti-naled protest outside miami beach city hall

y those that are infected with zika.... many people believe the pesticide is poisonious....but city officials say they've used naled for decades to spray for pest control.... politicians in washington still can't get zika funding straight. a one-point- one billion dollar bill has been blocked by sentate democrats. the democrats are mad about a republican backed provision added to the bill that would block funding to planned parenthood. this comes as florida reported seven new locally transmitted cases of the virus. florida republican david brought a container of 100 mosquitoes to the house floor (rep. david jolly, (r) florida) can you imagine the fear and anxiety in this chamber if these hundred mosquitoes were outside this jar, not inside this jar? members of congress would run down the hall to get tested. they would spray themselves before coming in here. this is the fear of floridians right here!! there are now more than 26-hundred travel related cases of zika across the u-s.

reckless driving. right now in phoenix... police are investigating a new shooting on a freeway.. that claimed the life of a woman. investigators say the woman called 9-1-1 saying a white truck was following her-- then during the call.. the operator heard gunshots. the woman crashed her car. she later died at the hopsital. the freeway was shut down for hours while officers investigated-- backing up traffic for miles. police hav believe this shooting is connected to the recent series of freeway shootings. we helped get answers for people living in a downtown apartment complex... we helped get answers for people living in a downtown enforcement is sending out a supervisor to inspect the complex near 7th street and carson. their elevator hasn't been working since july. renters have been complaining about the issue, but it wasn't until our phone calls that code enforcement opened a case for the problem. ford is expanding a recall.
