our crews were fast and first to the scene near the 95 and stewart. we were there before firefighters even got a chance to put the fire out. firefighters say the fire started in the backyard...fortunatel y no one was injured. no word on what caused the fire. 13 action news reporter marissa kynaston is headed to that scene right now. she'll have a live report at five. (stacey moser, mom) how they responded, it just makes me feel like knowledge,or they are hiding something this morning students at walter johnson junior high will be back in school after missing three days of class. school officials and the e-p-a say the mercury is gone but many parents are still concerned they don't have all the information. many say they don't want their child to go back. "i still don't know if they're safe, because they still haven't said who brought it." the mercury spill was first

c-c-s-d officials say....they still dont know who or when the mercury was brought to the school. but they insist the school has been thoroughly checked out. "we have got to get back in the routine of education, the campus is safe, it's been checked and checked again and clean thoroughly." many people are wondering exactly what the e-p-a has been doing while school was closed. we're told they worked with an outside contractor to replace some floor tiles, removed part of the gym floor...and replaced and while school officials are confident the school is safe, there is still concern that traces of mercury may still be in some of the student's homes. our crews spoke to one student's grandmother, who had her home evaluated. georgette byrd says the e-p-a found traces of mercury in living areas. but she says the highest levels were in her grandaughter's jacket. they told us the level of 6000 is high and the jacket jacket was at 20,000
