police were in a standoff with the suspect. police say the suspect was allegedly threatening passengers. luckily-- everyone is okay. right now -- two philadelphia police officers are recovering after being shot. this morning the search is on for a possible second suspect. police say one suspect was shot and killed...last night. there are still no details about what led to the shooting in the first place. the identities of the officers just hours before that -- two texas police officers were shot in fort worth. both are expected to be ok. one was shot in the chest...but a neighbor says he saw the suspect's distraught family outside. was the neighbor says the shooter appeared to be a man in his 40's. a las vegas motorcycle officers says he's lucky to be alive this morning. a man-accused of d-u-i-plowed right into him. it all happened at tropicana and durango. police say - early yesterday morning - david williams rear-ended a motorcycle cop - throw harley-davidson. a friend of the driver ....couldn't believe it ...when we told her the news. :49:07/lashee small/driver's friend "he's very sweet-he's a real big sweetheart. and he has a heart-a big heart. no matter what-you can be someone who'll stab him in his back and he'll still be there for you." eyewitnesses say williams- did take some repsonsiblity for his actions- staying with the officer until help arrived. police arrested him and charged him with driving under the influence of drugs.

immediately noticed something was wrong when he got in his car to go to work.. so he decided to look over his home surveillance video. what he found was a young man.. rummaging through his car around 5:30 in the morning near summerlin parkway and town center. at one point.. it appears something spooks him and he runs from the car.. then returns a few seconds later. incredibly.. the car owner says nothing was taken. he also admits he left the car unlocked.. that again. a similiar crime caught on camera near blue diamond and el capitan. you can see a young man walk up to a home... and steal a large box from the front door. the homeowners say he probably won't have much use for what was inside.. which was about 80 dollars worth of baby gear. wynn las vegas is being hit

prepare to demolish a bridge over symphony park drive. we tested several detours and here's the result. the suggested detour will take you onto the 15 north to turn around at d street. it'll take you about 6 minutes.. you can also get off the 95 at valley view... rancho and mlk ...and work your way down to charleston to get on the 15 south. rancho was the quickest of at five and a half minutes. valley view took us a little over 7 minutes and mlk was slower at about 10 minutes. another good thing to keep in mind is you will not be able to get on the 15 south from either rancho or mlk... because of this road work. despite popular belief -- amazon doesn't always have the best and lowest prices!

interstate 15 ramp in las vegas from 10 p.m., september 16 until 10 a.m., september 18. it's the busiest ramp in the state, seeing 3,100 vehicles per hour during peak use hours. the 36-hour closure is needed to shift the ramp lanes east in preparation of an interstate 15 bridge demolition crossing symphony park drive that will occur next weekend as part of project neon. motorists are encouraged to avoid the area or follow the signed detour, which will reroute traffic north onto interstate 15, using exit 76a to the d street exit. project neon is a nearly $1 billion investment that will widen a 3.6-mile stret interstate 15 between sahara avenue and the spaghetti bowl. motorists should use caution while travelling through the work zone, heed construction work zone, heed construction facebook, linkedin, an i'm really good at war. i love war in a certain way.
