pressure cooker bomb that was filled with shrapnel. a similar device was found about a half mile away... but it didn't go off. and this morning, new york's governor made a troubling admission... :01the investigation is proceeding... a foreign connection" :14 as for the 29 people who were injured in saturday night's blast... we've learned all of them have released from the hospital. this is one of 3 terror-related incidents that happened across the country.. todd has more on that second explosion in new jersey... overnight... the f-b-i's bomb robot detonated an explosive that was resting on top of a garbage can in new jersey. it was attempting to cut the bomb's wires--- when it exploded. the bomb was one of five explosives found in a backpack--- just south of newark.

because it was left in an area that's not heavily populated. it's still not clear if this incident is related to the pipe bomb that went off during a marine corps charity run saturday. luckily, the race was delayed and no runners were nearby when the pipe bomb went off. this morning beaches are back open. authorities don't have any suspects in custody now to a third incident...isis has claimed responsibility for that horrific stabbing attack inside a minnesota mall over 8 people were hurt, 3 of them are still in the hospital. police say a man carrying a knife started stabbing people at random. an off-duty police offer shot and killed the attacker. this morning one of the victims is speaking out about the attack from his hospital bed. 0:47 and then he just came up, i braced myself...side of the head, fell down to the ground, i never went unconcious or anything. didn't say a single word, just walked right past me. like a machine or something. the fbi is still calling this a

one person dead, and 2 others are recovering after 3 seperate seperate shootings across the valley. and no arrests have been made in any of the cases. in the first, police say a man was at grapevine springs park near hacienda and lamb when he was shot by another man. we're told a man was grazed in the chest by a bullet and was taken to sunrise hospital. no arrests have been made in this case. the second shooting happened just minutes later near las

police have idetified the man who stabbed nine people at a minnesota mall over the weekend....as 22-year-old dahir adan. isis has claimed responsiblity for this attack despite that claim, police say they're investigating this as a lone wolf attack....while the f-b-i is calling it a "potential act of terrorism." authorities say the man had asked at least one of his victims if they were a muslim... before stabbing that person. police say all of the victims are expected to survive. security is the main focus as general assembly meeting in new york city this morning. the meeting comes just days after that explosion in chelsea. the nypd has stationed more officers in the city and set up barricades in certain areas. new yorkers say they welcome the new measures. this was the scene outside of the aria a few months ago. witnesses say neil began struggling with actor nicholas cage after the attack. according to police, neil grabbed a woman by her hair, dragging her to the ground after she tried to get an autograph from cage. neil's bench trial begins at 9 this morning. pro-tem steve ross is also due in court today. shane ross is accused of nearly a dozen robberies in the valley. according to police, he confessed to the crimes, saying he needed the money for h-o-a fees and other bills. his family claims he's battling a heroin addiction. we recently spoke with steve ross and his wife. they say shane has been battling "demons" for a long time. but they're grateful for the outpouring of support. the case of shane ross reflects
