serious condition after being hit by a car in north las vegas. the crash is near rancho drive and texas star lane. the driver at fault did stay on scene and is cooperating. north las vegas police say lake mead is closed between rancho and texas star. we have a crew on the way there right now and will bring you the latest as soon as we get it. and this just into our newsroom -- our crew spotted this car of the 95 just hours ago. this is on the 95 near russell. our photojournalist jim flint was there and he says it took fire officials and ndot quite some time to get to the fire. we do know it was a utility truck. it's not clear whether anyone was hurt. and more breaking news -- within the past few hours the governor of south carolina announces plans to evacuate as many as one million people from

right now people living near mount charleston are concerned because of an out-of-control fire that continues to burn. many of you reached out to us wondering why firefighters are not battling the flames. and when you ask we investigate. we called the forest services who told us the fire is only a half an acre and its surrounded by rk steep-- so for the safety of fire crews-- they are not attacking the fire directly. they dont expect the fire to grow-- and they are monitoring the situation. there is a meeting set for tonight and we have more information at ktnv dot com right now metro police need your help finding this man suspected in a violent robbery. police say yesterday he attacked two teens near pecos and east reno avenue. he dragged one of the victims
