to sign the bill today-- governor sandoval is expected to sign the bill today-- approving the financing for that stadium. after hashing out details at last weeks special session-- we know the cost of the stadium will be split three ways-- the adelson family-- the raiders organization-- and by increasing clark countys hotel room tax. that tax increase will start in numbers-- if you stay in a hotel-- and pay one hundred dollars-- youre only paying an additional one dollar and 38 cents with the tax increase. after the governor signs-- the next step is approval by nfl team owners. meeting about that could start as early as this week.

firefighters were called out to a home near desert inn and

yesterday. they arrived....to find heavy smoke and flames pouring out of the garage. crews were able to quickly put out the fire..... before it could spread. the home was saved...but several cars inside the garage were destroyed. this morning, political leaders are condemning a violent attack on the gop headquarters office in hillborough, north carolina. investigators say vandals firebombed the building and left behind nazi graffiti over the weekend. republican leaders are calling the attack a "hate crime" and sot-dallas woodhouse/ncgop 161242 we will not be intimidated. we will not be cowed and we will not be scared. we are not going anywhere! hillary clinton condemned the attack while donald trump blamed the crime on quote "animals representing clinton" the office is used around the clock, but thankfully nobody was inside at the time. fbi director james comey is rejecting the idea that police violence is a national epidemic. he says people who claim otherwise "have no idea" what

community for a vigil last night. the crash happened saturday. the driver of a truck lost control and plunged off a bridge onto a vendor's booth. there was a motorcycle rally happening at the time. police say the 24-year-old driver was under the influences. he's facing four counts of vehicular homicide and dui. police have arrested this man, 27-year-old ivan cotton for allegedly shooting and killing his girlfriend. of saturday night near jones and cactus, they found cotton standing outside a car. the victim was in the driver's seat, suffering from gunshot wounds. she was taken to the hospital where she passed away. crash this morning, we're getting a look at the ten-year-old boy who was killed in crash in north las vegas. on the left you see a picture of louie lopez. his family posted the picture to a go-fund-me-page over the weekend. the young boy was hit by a car near owens and civic center

side door of a van while it was fund-me on our website, ktnv dot com. this morning, we know the names of the officers who were involved in that deadly shooting of an armed robbery suspect on the 215.. officers john squeo, christopher gowens, travis swartz, and erik lindberg are all on paid administrative leave pending a review of what happened. it started last thursday when police spotted a stolen car quickly turned into a high speed chase. the suspect, 50-year-old rex van wilson, was shot and killed after a confrontation with police. metro says he had a gun and was wanted for a number of armed robberies in the valley. right now, metro is on the search for a pair of suspected robbers. here's a good look at some pictures of the guys. police say they robbed a business near fremont and sahara last friday.

crowded suspension bridge collpsed early this morning. authorities say three of the victims were children between the ages of 3 and 9. right now-- a manhunt is underway in alaska... for the man who shot a police officer, and then took off. the officer was responding to a shooting call just after midnight on sunday. in the dashcam video you see a man walk up with what appears to be a gun in his hands. police say he shot the officer multiple times and then took his patrol car. he later abandoned it a few blocks the officer sustained serious injuries, and is still recovering in the hospital. overnight a candlelight vigil was held for the victims of a tragic crash in san diego. four people were killed after a pick up truck flew off a bridge over the weekend...landing on a crowd of people. this morning the driver of that truck...a member of the u-s navy...is charged with four counts of vehicluar homicide and d-u-i. police say 24-year-old richard anthony sepolio was under the influence when he lost control
