sell his cell phone... and ends up ends up being shot at and robbed.. parker collins is live near m-l-k and bonanza to show us how this transaction turned violent. a lot of people go online... somewhere like craigslist to sell our old stuff. this is a well lit place--- likely with cameras--- you'd think it would be safe, but it police say three guys met up here just after 1 this morning. one guy was selling his phone and they all got in his car to talk. that's when police say one of the buyers pulled out a gun. two shots were fired inside the car. amazingly no one was hurt. the two buyers took off in a getaway car. police are looking for them now they have the victims wallet... cash... and the phone that started it the countdown is on.... here in las vegas..

presidential debate. marissa kynaston is live at u-n-l- v... to show us how the campus has changed--- in preparation for the debate. you can see all the preparations that have already started-- and today will be for any last minute preps before tomorrows debate. today-- crews will be holding rehearsals. these are very similar to theater rehearsals- its a time for crews to check the sound-- check the lighting-- check the equipment-- and then make adjustments. but the presidential candidates do not actually participate in rehearsals. instead-- stand ins are hired by the commission on presidential debates to play the roles of the candidates and the moderator. road closures will also be an issue-- the campus and surrounding roads will be congested-- or closed altogether. we have a list of those on our website-- ktnv dot com. mk-- 13an. stolen-vo a new poll this morning shows americans are very skeptical

this is according to a poll by politico. 41-percent of voters believe the election could be "stolen" from donald trump because of voter fraud. no evidence is backing up the voter fraud claim. supporters are much more confident about votes being counted accurately. nearly every major national poll shows clinton leading trump. melania trump is breaking her silence about her husband's vulgar sexual talk in that infamous access hollywood tape from 2-thousand-five. i said to my husband thats the language is inappropriate it's not acceptable melania sat down for an interview with cnn's anderson cooper, which aired last night.

meanwhile, there's new developments in that random shooting on i-15 that took the life of a grandmother. police are looking into a violent video game as a possible motive for the shooter. an arrest report has revealed that kenneth mcdonald kept referencing the game "grand theft auto." it's a popular game where players can commit drive-by shootings, if they choose. retired metro lieutenant randy sutton, says mcdonald could just be trying to build up his defense. "there have been defenses put up that i would laugh at." "but, there have been gullable juries that have looked at it police haven't revealed a specific motive, only saying the shooting was random. 48-year-old tracey donahue was killed in the shooting. her husband, who was also shot, is still recovering. history is made with the stroke of a pen. the plan to build an nfl stadium in las vegas gets a green light from the governor. but... a new report details the roadblocks ahead.

in blood. police say wilson only had a minor criminal history but just days before his wife had reported him missing and said he seemed suicidal. new this morning...police had to be called out to a protest in el cajon, california overnight. the protesters gathered at a memorial for alfred olango. he's the man who was shot and killed by police last month after they mistook his vaping device for a gun. police broke up last night's protest, citing unlawfull assembly. some of the demonstrators were detained and questioned. an investigation into the meanwhile, a lockdown has been lifted at the university of cincinatti in ohio after shots were fired on campus. police say two men were talking when one of them pulled out a gun and fired at the end of their conversation. "the guy just started freaking..then did that then ran off." nobody was hurt, but it caused quite the panic. students were ordered to shelter in place while police looked for the suspect. he still hasn't been located

right now, hundreds of people are being forced from their

are being forced from their homes because of a fast moving wildfire burning in southern colorado. the so-called "junkins fire" started early yesterday morning around westcliffe..which is southwest of pueblo. the fire has already burned around 13-thousand-acres..and over 100 homes are in its path. sot woman -"i'm really, really nervous right at the moment but i'm just trying to stay calm because what's the point of ge bothered." there's no word yet on how this started.. the national weather service says high winds are helping fuel this fire. an update on that wildfire burning on mount charleston. firefighters tell us the fire is 65-percent contained this

rocket launched last night in virginia. it's carrying more than 5-thousand pounds of food, supplies, hardware, and science expirements. a "dancing with the stars champion" has finished his stint as a performer here in las vegas... but he's leaving behind a special mark on the popular show. nyle di-marco recently took up hosting duties at chippendales inside "the rio". during his one month run, the deaf model and actor incorporated sign language into the cast. the audience was also taught how to communicate with nyle. on average the show had about -1- hundred deaf audience members every weekend. . macy's is hoping to draw you in this thanksgiving. the store just announced they're opening an hour earlier this year. the retailer plans to open at 5 p-m...then close at 2 a-m..before reopening on black friday at 6 a-m. the store cited "ongoing customer interest in shopping on thanksgiving."
