homicide in the southwest part breaking overnight... we got new information about a breaking overnight... we got new information about a homicide in the southwest part of the valley... police tell us a father shot and killed his son. officers were actually on another call near rainbow and windmill when they heard three shots... around 8-30 last night. we're told they ran to the area where they heard the shots coming from... and that's when they say a man came out of an apartment and said he shot his son. despite not knowing what led up to the shooting, police are considering this an act of

back in custody. detectives still haven't said how they tracked down laron cambell... they only say he was the target of a swat situation last night. rogelio chavez, one of campbell's cell mates, is still on the loose, but police believe they are closing in on him. both inmates, as well as two calara jail last week... by sawing through bars on their windows and rapelling to the ground using bed sheets. the oklahoma police officer who shot and killed an unarmed black man in september will stand trial for manslaughter. officer betty shelby was charged after shooting terence crutcher in september, which was captured on camera. a judge decided to go ahead with the trial after reviewing the video in the courtroom.

he was responsible for the crash that killed morgan's friend james mcnair. he will have to do three hundred hours of community service and pay fines. investigators found the driver hadn't slept for 28 hours before the crash. in a t-v appearance earlier this month, morgan said he had forgiven the man. the clock is ticking for protestors fighting against the dakota access pipeline. the army is giving them until december 5th to leave-- but their promising not to budge... even through the winter storms. warning the demonstrators they will start blocking supplies from entering the campsite. the governor of north dakota says first responders will no longer be helping those that choose to stay in the freezing temperatures. members of the standing rock sioux tribe are fighting pipeline construction.. claiming it will hurt their water supply and run through sacred land. the company behind the project insists its safe.
