a car. at this point-- police dont believe the parents knew that other man. police are still here on scene interviewing witnesses. they say the child is still with the mom. mk-- 13an. and breaking overnight... we got new information about another shooting that happened just an hour earlier-- where police believe a father killed his son. officers were responding to another call at the apartments near rainbow and windmill when they heard three shots. they ran to where the gunfire was coming from... and that's when they say a man came out of an apartment and said he shot his son. police believe this was domestic violence related. metro lieutenant dan mcgrath now has a plea for anyone having family troubles. 3:51 "please call somebody... friends, family a pastor... someone didn't have to lose their life" 4:04

ccsd junior high teacher charged with having an inappropriate relationship with a student is set to be sentenced. nicole wilfinger is due in court at 8-30 a-m. in august, she pleaded guilty to statutory sexual seduction and sexual conduct between a school employee and a student. the former molasky junior high math teacher was arrested in april. according to the police report the victim was a family friend. even blocked traffic to make sure none of the demonstrators were hit. former nfl player darren sharper will be spending decades behind bars. it's part of a plea deal, that ends his more than a dozen sex assault cases... in different states-- including here in nevada. sharper was sentenced to 20 years in prison for drugging and raping two women in los angeles. the athlete admitted he attacked the women at a hotel, after meeting them in a nightclub. after he was arrested in 20-14, accusers from across the similar stories. "i stand here proud knowing, this man darren sharper will never take something so precious from another woman again and i really hope this case especially how long it as gone on for can encourage other women, young adults, men or women, to stand up for their rights and to not be intimidated by wealth or money or fame." in october sharper was sentenced in his attempted sex assault case here in las vegas.
