good morning and thank you for joining us on this monday, good morning and thank you for joining us on this monday, june 3 team, and i am dave clark. and i'm alex savidge, and we will check on your roadways for you, and first we have the weather. unbelievably cool for us, and maybe rain up north. it starts today, and still pretty warm for some. the fog is here, and the delta breezes are roaring. it is ahead of this significant cool down carrying into wednesday and thursday. this time of year it can rebound fast. a few mountain showers, but overall, it is the fog bank that is creeping in. we have winds gusting at 40 in fairfield, and 50s on the temperatures, near 60 for some, but a significant cool down as

this fog bank ramps up for a couple of days. for this time of year, this is impressive, 60s and mainly 70s with temperatures coming back down after the warm up over the weekend. 4:01 am. good morning, not a lot going on right now. we will check out the tracy super commute, and starting their because traffic is moving along pretty well on 580 from the 205 interchange and from tracy over to the livermore valley, not a bad commute. as you drive into the main part of livermore, looking good from the altamont pass. now is a good time for your commute. at the bay bridge toll plaza, traffic is moving well, and a little bit of fog.

onto 80, traffic looks good into downtown san jose and into the valley. learning new developments about the deadly mass shooting in orlando that left 15 dead and dozens injured. some of the victims have been identified and their families are being notified. for now, the city of orlando is only giving their names and ages, the youngest 20, the oldest 50. the gunman omar mateen was killed in the shootout with the police. we do not know if isis call for the shooting or if omar mateen was only inspired by isis, president obama asking the nation to pray for the victims and their families as the investigation into omar mateen continues.>> we will uncover why this happened and go where

the facts lead us. >> the ex-wife of the gunman is talking this morning, and says that he appeared to be normal after the marriage, but will problems -- but the problems quickly developed.>> i felt he was bipolar and would get mad out of nowhere. that is when i worried about my safety, and he started abusing me physically, very often. he would not allow me to speak to my family, keeping me hostage run them. i tried to see the good in him even then, and my family was convinced of what i was going through in decided to visit me and rescue me out of the situation. >> she said that her family physically had to pull her out of the arms of omar mateen the night she left him.

criminals.">> donald trump also tweeted that he was praying for all of the victims and their families. donald trump is also being criticized this morning for some of this tweets being sent out about the orlando shooting, including one where he says that he appreciates the congrats on being right on islamic terrorism. and another tweet read, "what is happening in orlando is just the beginning. our leadership is weakening, and i call that the ban must be tough." and he is once again calling for a ban on muslims entering the u. s. entering the u. s. the survivors of the orlando nightclub attack are talking about their struggle to stay alive during that mass shooting. george or tease -- orteze was

daughter of a police dispatcher. facing charges of stabbing a 12-year-old boy during the bank robbery one week ago in san leandro at the wells fargo bank. the 32-year-old woman robbed the bank customer and then stabbed a 12-year-old boy in the back with a pair of scissors. the boy was visiting from arizona and had surgery, and has returned back home. hammond is due to be arraigned on charges that include attempted murder and robbery. a wiring problem caused a fire in the downtown commercial building saturday morning, and it was about 4:30 am yesterday morning, and the cause of the fire was linked to the wiring with the florescent light fixture in the basement of the five-story building. it took 50 firefighters over an hour to knock out the flames, and no report of anyone

welcome back to mornings on 2. the ride for the sharks and the fans came to an end, and the penguins beat the sharks, 3- 1 to win the stanley cup. the sharks tying it up in the second, and just about one minute later, kris letang scores to get the penguins the lead back, and they did not give up the lead, and at the end of the game they had an extra man, and pittsburgh added the empty netter, final score, 3-1, and the pittsburgh penguins celebrating their fourth stanley cup, and a tough defeat for the sharks.'s back

now. we start off with the super commute, looking good from gilroy to san jose. not a bad commute through morgan hill into san jose, a decent commute. looking at the other commute, interstate 880 is off to a nice start with no roadwork, traffic moving very well past the coliseum heading to downtown. at the bay bridge toll plaza, light coming into san francisco. 4:18 am. we have the start of a significant cooldown, and the weekend warmed up, and had a lot of 80s, and now driving southward big time. by wednesday and into thursday, some inland highs in some areas that were in the 90s will be hard-pressed to get above 68 on wednesday and thursday. the possibility of rain in the

north bay. the big news for us is this fog bank, back in a big way, making it up the coast and from the west to the east. the delta breeze is flying, 40 mile an hour wind gusts, and sustained at 29 to 39, cooling down in the sacramento valley, and a little southeasterly breeze in the san jose in santa clara valley. 50s on the temperatures, and cool for some. north bay temperatures all in the 50s, novato and calistoga low 50s, 53 a petaluma, napa 53. there is a noticeable chill compared to the last two mornings. we had this little system digging down from the north, playing into a much cooler pattern. the low clouds, breezy and cooler, windy for some, 70s and 80s inland. the temperatures coming back really fast, and continuing to go down all the way into

welcome back to mornings on 2, and your time right now is 4:23 am. an indiana man was heading to a gay pride parade with weapons and bomb making the terrace, james howell was arrested yesterday morning. at first they were thought they were responding to a prowler, and they found howell in his car with three assault rifles and chemicals that could be used to make a bomb. his camouflage clothing was also found in the car. he said that he wanted to do harm at the gay pride event at west hollywood. they later corrected and said that owl only said that he was heading there to look or a

friend.>> the suspect made an initial statement to the effect that he was going to the pride festival, but he did not say would do anything further than that, and we have no additional information related to what his intentions were. >> his friend said that howell had no bad feelings toward gays or lesbians and that he is bisexual himself. they are trying to determine what he wanted to do with those weapons, and in the meantime, the annual pride event was held in west hollywood without problems. a warning for england and russia, soccer officials say that the teams could be disqualified from the european soccer championship if there is more violence involving their fans, following the class in the city of marseille with dozens of people injured. the violence erupted saturday after the russian fans rushed the opposing fans inside the

we will see that midweek, wednesday and thursday. it is not blazing hot over the past weekend, but it is beginning to cool off. wednesday and thursday, inland highs, concord, livermore, gilroy, morgan hill, and even points north, it could be 68 degrees, that is how cool we are talking. maybe rain by the time it gets here. this fog bank is making a good push, wind gusts up to 39 in almost 40 miles an hour in many locations. the northwesterly breeze, 50s on the temperatures, low to mid, and upper, lots of 60s and 70s today. this fog will car itself out over the entire west coast. 70s and 80s, morning drizzle possible. 60s and 70s
