yesterday where a drama circle was -- drum circle was featured, declaring petaluma a peaceful and hate free zone. the petaluma police are looking for individuals that shot and beat a homeless man. investigators say that the 51- year-old man said he had been sleeping under the overpass and the men attacked him. he managed to escape and flagged down a stranger that called 911 and he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. the main suspect is a white man between 18 and 25, five foot seven inches, 200 pounds with brown hair and eyes with stubble on his face. crews are fighting a fire at yosemite national park that broke out yesterday afternoon at the small mariposa community within the boundaries of the park. a large plume of smoke could be
seen in the area but no evacuations have been ordered. the fire has burned 400 acres and it is unclear how it started. firefighters in the meantime in southern california making progress on the wildfire that forced evacuations. the fire began just after 4 pm at the uc riverside burning 1000 acres and now standing at 44% containment. cal fire issued an evacuation order when the fire came close to homes but it was listed as okay to return a few hours later. pg&e looking into the cause of a power outage or 2700 customers at 9 pm last night. crews were able to get the power back on about 90 minutes later but they don't know what caused the outage. several agencies cooperated to break up the sideshow in san jose early saturday morning. >> the crackdown came after the
recent increase in the sideshow activity in the south bay and here's video of the earlier sideshow that took place with hundreds participating in the saturday sideshow which spread from the city streets on to highway 101. officers impounded several cars and wrote a number of tickets. an investigation underway in wisconsin after three men were shot in yield after car racing event in union grove about 7:00 last night. the men were shot at the point- blank range near the food vendor and two died at the scene and a third died at the hospital. over 5000 people were at the raceway for an event. there is a investigation underway this morning in houston after the police officer jumped off of the freeway to avoid a drunk driver. >> the officer carter was
investigating a crash last month when a second car swerved toward him and he jumped from the four-way moments before the drunk driver crashed into the wall where he was standing. officer carter suffered a broken back but he says he probably would have died had he not jumped. officer carter is expected to make a full recovery. check out this video from austin, texas which shows the car falling seven stories from the parking garage. the car comes out of nowhere narrowly missing the car below and hitting the back of the sab -- suv landing upside down. the woman was treated for non- life-threatening injuries and the police say she get the wrong pedal. the car broke through the cable wiring and the vehicle failed to several stories below. it is incredible because she nearly missed that other car. the university at uc

bypassed this. northbound is not affected through downtown oakland. we will find out more because we don't really know so much what is going on but we know that it is police activity. moving to the tracy commute and westbound 580 driving through the tracy super commuters already slow. it has only taken 46 minutes since we went on the air for traffic to get backed up on 205 and 580. looking at 880 north to 238 looking good at the bay bridge toll plaza which is light. it is 4:46 am. so you don't know what it is that lewelling ? >> we know it is police activity and that the freeways closed southbound. we have a crew on the way so we will soon know. we actually have this week system coming by today. you may have noticed some
