trump's speaking engagement starts at 1:00 today. clinton's starts at 7:15 tonight. as mentioned -- the 2016 primary is coming up very soon. the iowa caucus is less than two weeks away, on february first. the new hampshire caucus is set for february ninth. nevada's democratic caucus is set for february 20th. while nevada's republican caucus is set for february 23rd. trump's campaign was endorsed this week by sarah palin. last fall -- palin spoke to c-n-n about what kind of cabinet position trump might give her. charges, the 59 year old is accused of having victims as young as 10 years old film themselves in a pornographic video. holland faces life in prison if convicted. new visa requirements for some european travelers could be announced today. federal officials say they want to impose regulations that would make it tougher for terrorists to enter the country. the new rules would affect europeans who are dual nationals of iran, iraq, sudan or syria...or who have visited any of those last 5 years. democrats blocked a syrian refugee bill from advancing. to crack down on syrian and iraqi refugees coming to the u-s. the 55 to 43 vote party lines had the bill passed, the would veto it arguing that the u-s will be accepting to those, who are subject to discrimination around the world. but he has said that tougher regulations should be put in place to screen people entering

and canceled flights. the national weather service has already issued warnings in baltimore, washington and philadelphia. for those planing on driving after the storm, a new app in pennsylvania is helping them get around safer. the app tracks snow plows in real time so drivers can find out which state roads are clear and safe to drive on. users can track the plows on the website or download the free app. a town in new york is using the cold to help turn a parking lot into an ice skating rink. the nevada taxicab authority - a state agency overseeing the taxi industry in overcharging their million dollars a year. among questionable decisions the board has made - how they reallocated a fuel the authority temporarily raised mileage rates by 20 cents when gas prices were rising. prices dropped - but dropping the 20 cents - "what they actually did was take about half and put it into the permanent rate so part of that 20 cents became a permanent increase." 8 was added to the permanent fare - 12 cents remains fuel surcharge. another cost the report questions - three dollar fee credit card fee the board approved in 2010. wednesday night. none of the taxicab authority's board members showed up. getting rid of the taxicab authority was just a recommendation of the report - it would take the next legislative session to actually remove them from power. a downtown bar is looking to expand and its got some people in the community all fired up. atomic liquors is the oldest freestanding bar in las vegas. yesterday... the las vegas city council approved the bar's request to build a restaurant next door. church leaders and property owners are upset about it saying the city is too focused on pushing economic expansion. church leaders also fear that expanding downtown bars will just lead to more noise. they asked the city to place restrictions on the bar's noise level... the city denied that request. officials in belgium say they've taken 2 men into custody who have possible links to suspects in the paris attacks.

walmart says its giving its employees pay raises. the company says every walmart and sam's club employee hired before the start of the year will soon earn at least 10 dollars an hour. the retail giant will also provide basic short-term disability at no cost to full-time hourly workers.. and allow workers to accrue paid time off as they earn it. the changes go into affect february 20th. a proposed ballot to gradually raise our state's minimum wage to 13 dollars an hour, is moving foward. according to the nevada appeal... a carson city judge sided with minimum wage hike supporters and says the language on the ballot doesn't need to be changed. more than 55 thousand signatures are needed to get the proposal on november's ballot. if passed, minimum wage will go up to nine-25 dollars an

bracing themselves for heavy snow. some places will get hit with 12 to 16 inches of snow. people are already getting ready for blocked roads, power outages and canceled has already issued warnings in baltimore, washingt philadelphia. for those planing on driving after the storm, a new app in pennsylvania is helping them get around safer. the app tracks snow plows in real time so drivers can find out which state roads are clear and safe to drive on. users can track on the website or download the free app. a town in new york is using the cold to help turn a parking lot into an ice skating rink. "watertown" usually uses their fairground arena for skating but its closed for renovations. so workers for the city's department of parks and recreation are spraying down the

riders - up to 47 million dollars a year. among questionable decisions the board has made - how they reallocated a fuel surcharge. the authority temporarily raised mileage rates by 20 cents when gas prices were rising. last summer gas prices dropped - but instead of also dropping the 20 cents - "what they actually did was take about half and put it into the permanent rate so part of that 20 cents became a permanent increase." 8 was added to the permanent fare - 12 cents remains fuel surcharge. another cost the report questions - three dollar fee credit card fee the board approved in 2010. "clark county is one of the few areas in the country where the riding public is charged a credit card fee." last but not least - the report alleges board members overstepped their legislative roles.

taxicab authority was just a recommendation of the report - it would take the next legislative session to actually remove them from power. a downtown bar is looking to expand and its got some people in the community all fired up. atomic liquors is the oldest freestanding bar in las vegas. yesterday... the las vegas city council approved the bar's request to build a restaurant next door. church leaders and property owners are upset about it saying the city is too focused on pushing economic expansion. church leaders also fear that expanding downtown bars will just lead to more noise. they asked the city to place restrictions on the bar's noise level... the city denied that request. officials in belgium say they've taken 2 men into custody who have possible links to suspects in the paris attacks. the men were picked up on wednesday during a police raid in a neighborhood in brussels. officials say the area they searched is where many extremists lived in the past. france is still alert after about 130 people were

before the start of the year will soon earn at least 10 dollars an hour. the retail giant will also provide basic short-term disability at no cost to full-time hourly workers.. and allow workers to accrue paid time off as they earn it. the changes go into affect february 20th. a proposed ballot to gradually raise our state's minimum wage to 13 dollars an hour, is moving foward. according to the nevada appeal... a carson city judge sided with minimum wage hike supporters and says the language on the ballot doesn't need to be changed. more than 55 thousand signatures are needed to get the proposal on november's ballot. if passed, minimum wage will go up to nine-25 dollars an hour in 2018... then go up 75 cents each year until it hits 13 dollars. for the first time in n-f-l history there's a full time female assistant coach. the buffalo bills just hired kathryn smith as a special
