concerns over a virus we first told you about last weekend.. the c-d-c expanding its list of countries pregnant women should avoid. the mosquito- borne zika virus has spread rapidly, mostly in latin america and the caribbean, though there have in the u.s. health officials warning pregnant women to postpone travel to more than 22 destinations now, including barbados, bolivia and ecuador the virus has been linked to neurological issues in babies. symptoms include, fever, rash, joint pain and red eyes. the u-s governement has launched an effort to develop a vaccine for the virus. the rapid spread of zika has prompted officals in latin america to request a hold on all pregnancies. they're asking

"sleep is important for so many things. ranging from good growth, helping your immune system, heart health, good behavior and the ability to focus and learn well in school. not enough sleep may mean not appetite and making you want to eat more, taking in more calories, as carbobydrates in general. and that can cause a whole host of health problems. "too much eating with obesity cause problems like heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, so everything's interrelated, we want everything to be in balance and that includes your nutrition, your sleep and your exercise. and so we do recommend that kids get the right amount of sleep recommended for their age, at least an hour of exercise a day, and to eat a healthy diet. so how much sleep according to the cdc: newborns should be sleeping on average preschool aged kids, 11-12 hours. and school aged children should sleep about 10

company is closing its doors. 66 more people -- now out of a job.. premier solar solutions is closing its henderson location....accordi ng to the las vegas sun... the company will move to a state... with quote more favorable policies. solar city and sunrun announced their closures earlier this month... they've had to lay off more than 650 employees. tax incentives to bring electric car maker-- faraday future to the silver state-- have been approved. the nevada economic development board made the unanimous decision on friday the company hopes to break ground on the 1 billion dollar north las vegas factory by the end of the month. the incentive package includes 215 million dollars in tax breaks and 120 million in infrastructure

request asking the nevada supreme court to speed up a decision about the state's halted program the voucher would allow parents to claim more than 5 thousand dollars per student per year for educational purposes including private school tuition. opponents say it's stealing funding from public schools and is considered a violation of church and state. laxalt's proposal asks that all court briefs be submitted within 52 days instead of the standard 180. unlv makes a multimillion dollar land purchase near the thomas and mack... fox5's abby theodros tells us more about the project and the possiblity of a new stadium being built this stretch of land doesn't look like much now but a 42 acre land purchase by the university of las vegas could produce something big. reggie riggins, unlv student: unlv is always improving and i think the more they keep moving forward the better. their latest venture towards the future is a $50 million dollar purchase of 42 acres of land along tropicana and koval. the university announced their
