all to get ready for a huge increase in customers over this labor day weekend. terribles and several other businesses i talked with said this is one of their busiest weekends of the year. they say they bring in extra workers and in this case even extra bathrooms for all the people looking to take a break from their drive on i15. drivers i talked with who were stopping in said that traffic this afternoon was actually not as bad as they thought. many said left early to prepare for crowds of people on the road, and they're hoping they avoid the gridlock all weekend. "were really hoping i keeps up because the game starts at 7:10 tonight so we are just praying that we don't run into bumper to bumper." coming up at 5 see how some drivers are using their phones -- not behind the wheel of course -- but to make sure they
and even find some bathrooms like these on their weekend road trip. one of the things we're most excited about this cooler temperatures! it will be much easier to spend time outside, maybe catch a game... fox5 chief meterologist ted pretty joins us now from peter johann soccer field, where unlv is about to play a major game! closed captioning
closed captioning will resume shortly here's something you don't see every day... unless you're on fremont street or the strip... a man walking around a neighborhood in a thong was caught on camera... and a concerned citizen sent us the video so we sent fox5's miguel martinez valle digging to find out, is this even legal? the definition of indecent exposure in nevada is pretty broad... and while this next story doesn't fall in the realm of criminal... i'll warn you... you may wanna watch it like this (peeks through hands)
looked like a g- string, like almost half naked." curtis danner had a pretty rude awakening... " he pulled up next to my car, his engine woke me up" he looked out his window, and... bam.... talk about a site for sore eyes... " he walks back into this sewar area for about a minute and thats when i started recording to see what was gonna happen next." donner doesn't see this every day, so he had a number of concerns... " you have to pass a school everytime you exit this community, so that number 1, and number 2 what is this guy doing?"" bridge " i don't know the answer to that... what i do know is that walking around in public in skimpy underwear, while frowned upon socially... isn't actually illegal... " although not seen on many men, it is legal" so where do we draw the line for indecent exposure? well... there are body parts you can't show in public. " which most police officers
and your nipple areas for females, this does exclude breastfeeding." still, in situations like this one, where no laws are being broken... police say its better safe than sorry... give them a phone call " we may come out, it may not be criminal in nature, however we will come out there" as for donner... he's hoping this wanna be victoria's secret model... stays away from his neighborhood... " he had no regard for any kids or people walking their dogs out here, its all in public" ... you can wear almost anything on public property... but once you s foot on private property... specially a school. it can turn criminal. and business can refuse you service if you don't meet their dress codes... mmv, ffn, ll a first offense

more students. charlie could see the writing on the wall. she resigned before she was let go... but in the past few weeks she says david o'mckay academy has had to downsize substantially... more than a dozen teachers let go. it put a lot of pressure on us. i can't imagine the amount of families that were affected by this. we all had an expectation to be able to have the nevada school choice thanks to senator scott hammond to be able to put our kids wherever we felt was the most comfortabl our families. the school has two campuses... but only one is being used right now. both the school and charlie are hopeful that the the funding will come down soon. the school says a decision could be made as early as next week on e-s-a funding... and no later than next month. live in the newsroom... kathleen jacob fox 5 news. local. las vegas. and just a little background... e-s-a funding has had a court injunction on it since january. some argue the funding is
