a home in anthem. in an apparent murder suicide. it happened just after 6 last night. near anthem highlands drive and democracy. neighbors say they can't believe what happened. but it's shocking it's alarming that can happen, i mean it can happen anywhere, but you never think it's going to happen this close to home henderson police say the two victims appear to be in their late 30s or early 40's and were a couple. no one else was inside the home at the time. a woman has died after being hit by a car while crossing lake mead boulevard. according to north las vegas police.. a 47-year-old

street near civic center.. when she was hit by a motorcycle. the woman was transferred to umc where she later died.. the driver sustained minor injuries. the road was shut down while police investigated. we have an update now to a story fox5 has been covering since friday. this man is alonso perez. and these pictures are from a north las vegas police interrogation room. he was being investigated in connection with the murder of a valley man. when detectives left perez alone in that room, he broke out of handcuffs and escaped. perez is sti the run. we're now learning more about his past here in the valley. viewer louis scott contacted fox5.. saying he's had a run in with perez before. according to scott.. perez lived at a motel scott worked at. and one night.. perez came into the motel office.. and shot at scott. 1017 turns around his gun jams right here, jams again, i'm able to get away, now he starts shooting, reloads, fixes the problem here,

nevada guard soldiers and airmen from carson city to kuwait will be taking to the streets today running to commemorate soldiers killed in carson city five years ago. three guard members were killed in the attack at an ihop.. along with a
