representative from the e.p.a. gave generic statements about the dangers of mercury and tried to answered questions from parents about the quarantine process. but parents wanted more. they wanted detailed information straight from top e.p.a. officials who weren't present at the meeting. "....what to do." technical questions about mercury and the screening process were answered but when was mercury first present on campus? that is the cause of frustration for most parents. exposure could of happened last friday, five days before the school went on lock down. "...found out yesterday." shoes and

for the homicide suspect who escaped from north las vegas police custody on friday. north las vegas police released this video of alonso perez' escape. they say perez broke a set of handcuffs. climbed a chair and got out through the ceiling of the interview room. he is being held for a the murder of a man at a local mcdonalds. to put this in football terms... it's the 4th quarter... and the drive to build a new football stadium is inching towards the end zone... a local labor union showed up to yesterday's commission meeting.. they support the

the american flag raised over ground zero on 9-11 has finally made its way back home at the national september 11-th memorial and museum in new york. the flag was missing for years. but was found nearly 3-thousand miles away. its not clear how the flag traveled all the way to washington state.. but the man who turned it in said the flag was given to him by the widow of a 9-11 survivor. memo to all advertisers... don't use the tragedy of 9-11... to sell whatever you're selling. this walmart display is outraging people in florida.... a shopper posted this picture to twitter, and it spread quickly. you can see cases of coke... stacked in the shape of the twin towers... both coke and walmart are apologizing... saying the display was meant to honor firefighters... the display has been taken down.. something magical happened at 35,000 feet... a baby was... born. a very pregnant mom was flying on

"b-cycle" will install the bike share system. it has a huge network across the country they plan to open 18 stations here in las vegas. right now, there is no exact launch date for the service. with bike sharing booming around the country. there's not always an easy way to carry a helmet. well -- one company has changed that. "eco helmet" has created a foldable bike helmet out of paper -- and coated with based wax to make it waterproof. the helmet is said

johnson middle school leads the rant .. by now you know the story.. the entire school was locked down after several students were exposed to mercury... turns out it was a bag full of mercury.. not just a thermometer's worth. and while parents are furious with the school and the epa.. some are directing their anger at the parents.. here's why... it's unfortunate that those children had to be locked in the school while they were all tested for mercury exposure, but what's even more unfortunate is the way that their parents left the parking lot of that school. littered with trash.. plastic bottles paper everywhere.. what a shining example you're giving your children. just want to
