there's a lot of panic going on and they're going to pay for that, i guarantee they're going to pay for it. the person involved is not listening to what the officer is telling them to do. if you just listen and do what your told nothing happens. any excuse to riot and tear things up in their community they'll do. things have gotten worse! you got police shooting black men and women. you have people rioting against each other. you have people making homemade bombs going off all over the place. i mean come on, this is ridiculous! ray says... it's a shame that so many black men have lost their lives, but it's hard to back a movement like black lives matter when almost every video is showing them (the deceded) reaching around or right out ignoring a police officers commands... do what i do and it's easy follow the commands, respect the officer and then you can file a complaint or voice you concerns. now to a story that is getting a lot of attention here locally... the river regatta is no more... too many people... too much trash left behind... so bullhead city cancelled it. gerald says i am disappointed
8:26 am
defending those that trash the river as i agree it is not right. it also sounds like the bullhead city council had their minds made up even before the meeting. the residents of the community are more important than the tourists and the tourist's dollar. that to me is the most amazing thing i've heard since i've lived in las vegas! everyone else is more concerned with the tourist and the tourist dollar. send us your rants to the rant at fox5vegas.com or call at 702-436-

jim dunlap: too many nevada police officers have been killed in the last few years. the truth is, we make it too easy for no questions asked. so here's something we can do to honor the fallen: close the background check loophole. that will help prevent future cop killings. it works. in states that have closed the loophole, nearly half as many police officers have been shot and killed in the line of duty. background checks save lives. v.o.: yes on question one.
