panic for the hotel's thousands of employees and guests. the power was out for more than 12 hours. it's been restored but guests are still dealing with issues. fox5's peter dawson is live on the scene with the

we should hear from caesars at 6 a-m. we have been out here all night as guests returned to their hotel rooms. it was pretty chaotic last night, with many guests demanding answers about when the power would be restored and when they could get their stuff. thursday morning, a construction crew accidently hit a main power line in the basement, cutting power to the entire casino. the power went black just before 10 o'clock. a full evacuation of the property was ordered at noon after the generators failed to kick in. 3,000 people were displaced from the 29 hundred rooms at the resort. no one went to the hospital but some guests were pretty shaken up, after guests got trapped in the elevators. . ...sam palmer with the county say the backup generator system work but there is room for improvement firefighters rescued 11 people

casino on the strip suffered a power outage.. the bellagio lost power for three days back in 2004. guests did not have any phone serivce or water.. and thel did not work. they ended up being sent to other hotels. according to the las vegas sun.. the bellagio ended up losing somewhere between two and three million dollars a day in revenue. the presidential candidates are ramping up their campaigns in the final few days.. their families, running mates and the biggest stars among their supporters are out in full force.. melania trump: "he could not sit by anymore and watch what was happening in our country. that is when this campaign, this

"this is not a case of deliberate child abuse, it's a case of at the worst, ill- considered attempts to alleviate the pain of a child, which unfortunately had a tragic result. police say kendra and mylinda hatch gave kendra's daughter -- ryleigh -- medication that was not prescribed to her.. and a medical appointment scheduled the day before her death was cancelled. an attorney for one of the women argued they should be released on house arrest.. but a judge set bail at 100- thousand dollars. the women are expected back in court on december 14th. metro says the mom of a 2-year- old who died last month..
