today was already scheduled as a "professional development day" for the district. the district is now giving teachers a long weekend to recover. polk county deputies are looking for a gunman involved in a road rage incident here's a look at the suspect's car. a silver camry, license plate d-m-k 9-0-5. deputies say three people were inside the car at the time. according to deputies, one person in the car shot at another driver on a street just north of des moines following an argument at a nearby hotel. the driver of the other car crashed into a fence following the gunshots but is ok. earlier this week a four-year-old died after being shot in a case of road rage in new mexico. her father says he was driving when he was cut off, he gestured, and then the car pulled up next to him and someone started shooting. the four-year-old was shot in the head. 6:05 am
trump's 19 percent. this is the second poll this week to show likely caucus-goers favoring carson over trump. as we told you yesterday -- carson came in first in the new quinnipiac university poll of likely caucus- goers. he had an eight point lead over the poll's former frontrunner, donald trump... "well, you know, its one poll. that people are actually listening to what i'm saying as opposed to how it's being reinterpreted." carson had 28 percent support in the poll, trump had twenty.. and check out this tweet from trump's personal account yesterday. it claims iowa voters may have quote "issues in the brain". trump immediately deleted the tweet and issued an "apology". trump said a young intern accidentally did a retweet and the intern apologizes. the new poll did not deliver the best news for carly fiorina's campaign. place. i recently sat down with her

"the people of iowa take their responsibilities very seriously." from town halls to tailgates, carly fiorina is covering a lot of ground in iowa. she says one meeting --- stands out -- demonstrating why she's in the race. she met a poultry farmer whose flock was hit hard by the bird flu. "he said to me, his voice literally breaking, 'carly, i've been in this business my entire life... i know what to do. the government won't let me do it." fiorina says they told him to keep feeding his flock until the u-s-d-a could get there. she says he waited six many people's lives in this country is being crushed by a government that is too big, too powerful, too costly, too inept and too corrupt. as

"while everyone is getting all tied up on whether or not that photo was what i said it was of, planned parenthood has never denied that this is going on." "but specific to that video, you don't feel it's deceptive to stand up there and say, 'this is connected to planned parenthood?'" "not at all. not at all" planned parenthood says it did nothing wrong. however this month, the organization announced it will maintain programs that make fetal tissue available for research -- but will cover the costs itself instead of accepting reimbursement. one critic calls that an admission of guilt.
6:08 am
so far, not one congressional investigation into planned parenthood has shown the organization broke any laws. in texas, planned parenthood offices are raided. the state's health and human services office has been taking pictures but is not saying why. earlier this week, the texas governor said he wants to ban medicaid patients from getting health screenings at planned parenthood clinics. decision 2015... we continue to take a look at the candidates running for waterloo mayor. today, a man you might recognize. tim hurley is the former mayor. kwwl's nikki newbrough has his story. tim hurley born and raised in waterloo. for 37 and a half years "hurley spent three terms as in the city pushed him to this decision.
