continue to track these storms for you all evening long. test test test test test te sttonight, the crash horror caught on camera. the moment of a jet careened into an apartment building exploding. among the dead are seven people from one company. what happened in the terrifying final seconds. blizzard and tornado warnings, a wild mix of weathehe threatening 60 m mlion people. some taking shelter as barrel exclusive, an unarmed man diedhile restrained in police custody, tasered over and over again by three police officers and we have the trail of video. and the biggest shopping spree ever. bigger than black friday and cyber monday combined. a billion dollars in 8 minutes. why so many people are boyning in to -- joining in to spoil themselves.

right now. good evening. we start with the moment of impact. surveillance video has emerged capturing the fatal catch of a bubuness jet into an akron, ohio, apartment complex, killing nine people. on the tape, the plane appearing as a dark flash just behind the trees. then in the upper left corner of the screen, exploding into a fire ball. the tape, a critical clue for investors trying to understand why the jet went down. night we know more about the victims and about the conditions the pilots were facing. nbc's john yang is in akron with new details. >> reporter: in akron, ohio, today, officials sorted through the charred wreckage of the twib engine siness jet killing all nine on board. surveillance video captured the moment. behind the trees, the plane slammed into an apartment building, bursting into a cloud of spoke.

tornado and severe thunderstorm watches. it is going to be a tough night here, lester. >> stephanie gosk, thank you. tensions over race haveurned to fear at the university of missouri. at a school already rocked by a student revolt. many students are now afraid to go to class over threats that were made after student-led protests forced out the college president and chancellor. our jacob rascon has more from the increasingly empty-looking campus. >> reporter: a cloud of confusion and fear now overshadowed the university of missouri. afterolice arrested 19-year-old hunter park on a charge of making terrorist threats. allegedly posting on the social media site yik yak, i'm going to stand my ground tomorrow and shoot everybody -- every black person i see. adding don't go to campus tomorrow and we will kill you. some students started packing their bags. >> i think people are terrified. i honestly think

athletes to cheat. with a friday deadline looming with possible suspensions for the 2016 rio games, putin himsmsf has promised to cooperate with the investigation. nbc's keir simmons reports. >> reporter: vladimir putin welcoming the world to sochi for last year's winter olympics where russia won 33 medals, more than any other country. but today in sochi, he was scrambling to contain a doping scandal that could bar russian athleteu from next year's olympipi. >> we have identified possible criminal violations. >> reporter: accused of state-sponsored doping of the athletes at sochi and the 2012 london games, russia was at first defiant. but today putin acknowledged that russia has a problem. promising what he called the most open and professional cooperation with internional anti-doping structures thx week's damming report said agents off putin's security service, the former kgb, were present in a

rain wil come to end. again, as we take the track off that, we will show you what we just did. there's where the track was. we took the back edge of the yellow shaded coloring, heaviest of the rain, now moving to the north and east. these areas in the light green and darker green, yes, still some rain, but not the thunderstorms that pushed through the ar, and then we start to dry out. and this is what we can anticipate as we head through the eveneng and into the overnight hours. back out a little bit, take a look, zooming in a littl tighter to the severe

bernard under sere thunderstorm warning, monticello also under the severe thunderstorm warning. we are looking at showers and thunderstorms across the area. we will put a track on that line, and again this is moving very rapidly, the wind in the upper levels. atmosphere just racing across the area. that's the guide of these storms. the track on this, 5:57, the tte, cascad keep in mind, showers and thunderstorms are already going across the area, it is this line that we are putting a track on to give you the indication of where the best chance of seeing d daging straight-line wind is expected. so areas near dyersville 6:12, guttenberg, 6:25, dubuque 6:31. the track on the back end of that, close to 7:00. so it gives you a window of between now and 7:00, but between 6:30 and about 7:00, that's when this area of thunderstorm will pass through

dubuque. so still showers and thunderstorms all across the area, still have that tornado warning, that's why we are on the air still across the region. that's for cedar and jones county. that is until6:15. that takes us into half of our nheor thi wednesday evening. oxford junction, over towards clarence, still the potential of seeing an isolated tornado spin up within that area. we have -- on we have not had any tornadoes reported here in eastern iowa that we are aware of from the national weather service spotters, we have got all the trained spotters out there. general public hasn't reported anything, but t there has beeeen some damage in central and western iowa, whether that's tornado-related or damaging straight-line wind-related, we'll have to make an assessment or the national weather r rvice will do that as we head through the day tomorrow. now, as we take a look at our storm track 7 live weather network camera, in dubuque, where we are looking across

look towards the west, and we will see clouds as well as some rain and thunderstorms generally across the entire area, and showers and thunderstorms area wide. so we will continue to track thesesstorms as they move across the area. again, showers and thunderstorms, another look from hotel julian in dubuque. another shot of that. people on the road, dealing with the wet roadways out there. maybe some ponding occasionally, with some of the heavier downpours, as these thunderstorms continue to track in the northeasterly direction. there's your new warning that's out. it does include all of dubuque county, as well a as the eastern part of delaware county, yes, including the city of manchester, it do not include the city of manchester, but just to the eastn you are looking at heavier manchester. that continues to move northeastward. south and west, cedar rapids, iowa city, williamsburg, no risk of severe weather here. hopefully for the rest of th season, until maybe spring.
