meanwhile -- funeral services held today for the american college student killed during the isis terror attacks in paris. family and friends gathering to remember 23- year-old nohemi gonzalez in california. she was a student at california state-long beach -- studying abroad in paris at the time of the attacks -- which killed more than 130 people. her father saying today his daughter was "a bright light" and had no enemies. a grunge rockstar is found dead in his tour bus... two days before he was set to play in eastern iowa. stone temple pilots lead singer scott weiland was found dead in his tour bus. he was 48. police found weiland in bus last night while responding to a call to a hotel for a report of an unresponsive male.t he was later declared dead. weiland was set to play a show in rochester minnesota before he died. his next stop.... waterloo,

kwwls olivia mancino went to spicoli's bar and grill in waterloo, where weiland was set to play he died so young as you can imagine all of weiland's fans saddened by this loss--especially at spicoli's the owners telling me tonight this was the biggest show they were ever going to have to date music nats.... scott weiland...one of the most recognizable voices of the 90's. the frontman for both he was loved by his fans, namely self-proclaimed 90s kids. "is there an amp on, or is that you?" cody winther, one of those 90's kids, and a co-owner of the bar spicoli's-- "if you look up the definition of a rockstar, scott weiland would fit that mold." winther and his business partner were expecting to see that rockstar, up close and personal on saturday. "you guys ready for a good show? alright" they had locked weiland down for a concert at their bar, when they learned the news, they had to alert the hundreds of people

according to bloomington police, they found a small amount of cocaine in a tour bus bedroom where weiland was found dead. an iowa man avoids jail time after making violent threats towards an islamic cultural center. 57-year-old gerald ledford, of clinton, pleading guilty to posting threats on facebook towards an islamic center in boston last year. ledford is sentenced to four years probation with the first six months on house arrest. cedar falls police arrest a man accused of sexual assaulting an eight-year-old at an amvets post. police say 72- year-old ronald nielsen took the child into a closet. the incident ended after the victim's father walked in, nielsen is charged with second degree sexual abuse. one person is shot during a mid- day drive-by shooting. waterloo police say the victim was walking on the sidealk near west second and allen streets around
