( deputy chief brett zimmerman / lvmpd ) "we have the las vegas strip in a 1996 crashing through more than two she wasn't even trying to stop the car. she was just sitting there, like, just looking three or four men running after her, trying to stop the car." ( lt. dan mcgrath / lvmpd ) "she went up off the street onto the sidewalk two, or possibly three, times." inside that car, police say, was a three-year- old child. witnesses say people scrambled to try and stop the driver. information regarding safety at public schools has caused the district to close for the start of the week. investigators say a threat emailed to the schooo district was detailed enough to take action... "there does seem to be a lot obviously important because theyare talking about significant public safety and to that of the children. state and federal officials have been brought in to help find the source of the email. a french newspaper is reporring new details of the investigation into the man believed to have coordinated last month's deadly terrorist attack in paris. the newspaper says the alleged ringleader hid in bushes for days leading up to the police assault in which he was killed. the french newspaper says investigators used a cell phone to confirm where he had been hiding. following a ote to remove confederate monuments -- protests. the new orleans city council
