"you don't realize how much power and impact that a tornado has until you until you see this. i mean it's pretty devastating. thousands in the area also lost power due to the storms. a driver crashes into an eastern iowa nail salon. acccding to cedararfalls police -- the driver was the salon owner's wife. this salon is on brandilynn boulevard near the cedar falls walmart. since the business closed moments before the crash -- nobody was inside -- and nobody was hurt. according to police -- the cause of the crash was operator error. a cedar rapids police officer goes to the hospital after bing punched by a suspect. officers responded to the 800 block of sixth street south west in cedar rapids. police say this man -- 33-year-old nathan brocks -- allegedly hit the officer, causing him to fall and hit his head. the suspect was tased before he was taken into custody. he is being held in the linn county jail
an ohio police officer was shot and killed early this morning. policy say the suspect then drove off with the officer's squad car. two people have been taken into custody. one utah police officer is dead and another injured after an exchange of gunfire following a car crash south of salt lake city. investigators say officers responded to an accident when they saw two peplewalking away from the scene. as one officer approached them, a suspect firedd gun and killed the officer. another officer fired back and was hurt -- while killing the suspect. "there was an obvious exchange of gunfire, and when i round at officer barney, striking him in the head." the injured officer is listed in stable condition. in missouri -- police shoot and kill an armed robbery suspect at a fast food restaurant. officers say the suspect raised a gun
