a half-court thriller and much more on a frantic friday. show"early today" starts right now. more than 86 million people across six states are bracing for a monster winter blizzard. some areas expecting more than 30 inches of snow. five states plus parts of georgia and washington d.c. are already under states of emergency. federal aufrss soffices are expected to close early ahead of the storm. the d.c. metro has canceled service starting at 11:00 p.m. tonight through sunday. some drivers on i 495 decided to test the ice when their cars got stuck. all baltimore schools closed today and nearly 2500 flights

a jury has awarded $180,000 to an oregon man hit by an officer during a 2012 traffic stop. you can see it in this video. he knocks him off his bike at a bike while pulling wilkins over for traffic violations and the officer kicks him, breaking his collar boerngs all while pointing his gun at him and the oregon state police believe the officer did not violate procedure. well, it looks disturbing in the video, whatever we saw. a new record involving air travel, shows a lot of americans were packing heat. the tsa says it seized more guns last year than ever before. more than 2600 of them, most of them were loaded. at the airport. who are these people?
