"and i'm going to propose a
saturday night in sioux city, we already have it reserved." another republican candidate is upping the ante. carly fiorina says she'll donate one and a halfmillion dollals to veterans causes to debate trump and cruz on saturday night. so what do other prominent republicans think about what's happening right now. yesterday, we asked iowa senator chuck grassley whether he thinks trumps decision to skip the that, you can't do it and surely most of the candidates of this make their own decision, and i don't want to second guess those decisions." one county republican chairman in iowa says trump could benefit by making a bigger splash with his own evee tonight. he said -- in the past -- anytime
something that cost him, it dn't cost him. senator marco rubio calls it all a sideshow. the republican presidential candidate has been running third in the polls in iowa behind trump and cruz. he says it's time for the "all that's very interesting and makes for good television. it doesn't solveur problems. our problems are real and we need to confront them." for the most part, the republicans will spend the day in des moines getting ready for tonight's debate. rubio will be in dubuque tomorrow night for a town hall. his campaign has tumbled down the stretch -- but ben carson says don't count him out on monday night. there's gonna be a big surprise scratting your headsdsnd saying 'what happened here?' we've seen caucus night surprises in the past. we'll have to see if monday night brings any more. it would not be a surprise to see a close finish in the & democratic race... bebeuse the polls show the two

"we could say that we're like other communitities because that is true, other communities around the country are also seeing an incidence of gun violence on the rise and they make us fefel better but that doesn't solve the problem." p-cat will not respond to routine calls -- but instead will focus all of their attention on addressingg violenene. a tragic story out of new jersey this morning. a 17-year-old girl is facing first- degree murder charg in the death of a 13-year- old boy. thee boy was shot and killed this month. the suspect is also a suspect in another shooting last fall. a convenien store owner fights back against a thief -- and the whole thing is caught on tape. the suspect asks for cigarettes before pulling out a gun and demanding cash. the owner wouldn't back down. he grabbed a crowbar. eventually, the suspect gave up and left. why did you grab the crow know, because he say, 'give me money, give me and i kill you.

"let us take this fight from here. go home and hug your families. this fight is ours for now in the courts." it came a day aftererprotester lavoy finicum was shot and killed by police during the arrest of bundy and four of s followers. officials say finicum led authorities on a high speed chase, exited his vehicle, and
opened fire. two additional arrests related to the occupation, were made in burns oregon... ...and a third in arizona. as some protesters stayed at the refuge wednesday in defiance, others left, including three men who were arrested. while ammon bundy wants them all to decamp... ...his father, nevada rancher and activist cliven bundy, disagrees. house on the same property. it's illegal-- according to city ordinances -- to have a mobile home on that property because it's not property zoned for it. after refusing to give a variance-- the city was taken to court - wherer a judge ordered the city to do it. marquette's city council voted to not appeal the decision-- and "in my best judgement, what flood gates to zoniig issues within the city. basically, we're making an exception because someone was building a very expensive home and we were trying to appease him." marquette's city manager and city attorney have also turned in their resignations. we were told this issue wasn't the sole reason, but played a part. we still have a lot to get to this morning... including a struggling panther team hoping to right the ship on the road. uni highlights coming up. plus a flashback to the 60s. how would you like to fill up for less than 40 cents?
