information from the kwwl stormtrack 7 weather team: welcome back i'm meteorologist quiet a bit the last cououe of days. herer is one that was taken yesterday. thanks for sending these photos in. threat tracker is in the green over the next 48 hours. we aren't expecting any hazardous weather. there could be some flurries or light snow today or tomorrow, no one event will be a big snow maker but nonetheless the chance is there. saturday looks pretty good with partly cloudy skies, and many of us will be above freezing. road conditions right now are partly snow covered across northern iowa. a lot of refreezingg overniniht with temperatures in the single digits. these road conditions should improve. if you want constant updates, you can follow kwwl storm track 7 on twitter, we have hourly updates on the roads when they are bad. here's the storm track 7 live across eastern iowa, but you can see some flurries off to the north. it's part of a weak system tipping into the upper midwest. not a huge deal, but could leave a dusting in some areas.
