shooting at a business. fourteen people injured in the kansas shooting -- five remain in critical condition. authorities said the shootings were were at a manufacturing plant where the gunman worked....the plant's parking lot and two other locations. almost exactly one- hundred years afer another massive fire there. flames shoooing through this estate in rhode island. built between 1870 and 1880, mayfield cottage was destroyed in a 1916 fire that left few rooms anding. the property was sold to owners who built a new house in its place. a minnesota family has a brave neighbor to thank for saving their lives. the neighbor called 9-1-1 after seeing the fire and then went inside to search for people. he found one man and the safely. (....music.c..) but this man somehow survived. "it's been a great area. it really has." jess boatright has been barbering in the neighborhood for more thh 62 years. "we had three or four restaurants, half a dozen taverns. a shoe cobbler. we

make a living." even though it's ben several decades -- and l that's left is an empty building across the street -- jess recalls when business was booming -- and even cutting howard rath's hair.
