today. in a kwwl follow up.... health officials are puzzled tonight...by an eastern iowa outbreak of mumps they are saying this is the worst outbreak in ten years in dubuque county mumps has been spreading among students in that county...cases now topping 30 this is more than one-third of all cases in iowa the source of the outbreak has still not been determined we're learning more information about a man accused of killing two iowa police officers in an ambush stlye attack the man allegedly sent a note to one of their departments just days before the killings scott michael greene allegedly called the urbandale police department absolute heroes and that he loved them for keeping the community safe he also apologized for prior run-ins with the department and

killed urbandale officer justin martin and des moines police sergeant anthony beminio while they sat in patrol cars two men are facing charges tonight for allegedly pulling a man out of bed and assaulting him shawn turner is facing charges of first degree burglary and child endangerment devonte ellison is also facing burglary charges police say back in september, they responded to 32-80 hillcrest road in dubuque about a disturbance allegedly pulled a man to the foot of the bed and began punching turner's bond is set at 25-thousand dollars veterans from the university of iowa and the university of nebraska are marching a total of 347 miles--that's from memorial stadium in lincoln to kinnick stadium in iowa city--in hopes to bring awareness to veteran suicide. the nebraska veterans left thursday and are headed towards the original freedom rock in western iowa--
