forecast today, as well. but, as we have been alluding to throughout the last couple of days, there is storm system that waits in the wings, that's going to be moving in later tonight at which point winter weather advisory is going to be taking effect. we'll have a lot more on the storm system in the minutes ahead here, but for today at least, just know this, you got to have the extra winter weather accessories to go. i even put on the long john stockings this morning, sweat pants, ya, i mean, extra layers are key i would say. >> not inside so much though, flight. >> oh, ya, exactly, it is when you go out. >> because i'll start sweating profusely, we don't want that 4:30, in for meisha this morning, you saw the temperature, or the win chill at zero. well, there is zero incidents out on the roadways this morning, the schuylkill eastbound, at girard, accident has just cleared within the last minute or two. so that's good news again, schuylkill eastbound the ram haves been closed one car accident out of the way. that's good news, the vine, still closed though, usually overnight for construction, as

go between broad street and 76. so this will open back upright around 5:00. normally does when they have overnight traffic. look at the beautiful ben franklin bridge. pretty view this morning, cold but pretty view. this will be heating up for us, for the 6:00 hour. right now no problems. some delays over in new jersey, including this, water main break at route 70 eastbound past i-295, the left lane blocked there. you can take white horse pike route 30 as your alternate. also, in jersey, we stay over there, route 42 the freeway between route 130 and the walt whitman bridge. one to two lanes block for the next 30 minute or so. and new jersey route 130 again in both directions between route 322 and route 44, there is one lane blocked there, for construction, as well. jim jen jan, back to you. >> cbs philly weather app, there, you can finds hourly, weather apps, it is available for android, apple devices so search for cbs philly in the

app store. >> meantime, three teens rob a man at gunpoint, and take off. but, not for long. policeman and to dodge the robbers gunfire and catch all three suspects. >> eyewitness neutral reporter anita oh, live from the scene in feltonville with more on the intense chase, good morning, anita. >> reporter: good morning, jim, jan, those three suspect are now in custody after police say they robbed a man at gunpoint of both his cell phone and pass. one reportedly fired a shot at police after fleeing the scene. luckily, no one was hurt. take a look at some of the video from earlier this morning there is all happened about 1:30 near luzerne and lawndale. that's when police say the suspects robbed that 21 year old man, they then fled the scene in dark pick-up truck which police tried to pull over shortly after because it matched the description they were given. when officers tried to approach the carp, it sped off. police pursue them for about a minute before losing site of them. but minutes later the suspects parked on the highway near front and rockland and started running through an alley near

the boulevard and rising sun avenue. that's where shots rang out. >> all three police were in full uniform operating a marked car. so no mistaking who they were. one of the suspect fired a shot at the police. police showed restraint. police did not return fire. police chased all three suspects. >> so it is lucky none of those police officers were hurt, those suspect are 17, 18, and 19 years old. they will be charged with aggravated assault and also for that armed robbery, they're being held at east detectives. live in feltonville, anita oh, cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> thanks so much, and eat a new this morning, police involved crash in south philadelphia, authorities say this happened on broad street, and snyder avenue just before 2:30 a.m. two officers, man and a woman, were taken to the hospital were minor injuries. philadelphia fire crews battle overnight house fire in the city wissinoming section. "eyewitness news" on the 6000 block of keystone street, where fire officials tell us

flames broke out inside of this vacant home around 1:30 this morning. firefighters had everything under control, in just about 20 minutes, no injuries were reported. well, a preliminary hearing is scheduled today for the man police say shot a folcroft police office nerve june. authority say 33 year old dante fired seven shots at officer chris dorman. dorman was responding to a call of a drug deal 1500 block of elmwood avenue folcroft. at three hour manhunt, he was found. charged with two count of attempted murder and other charges. >> well, two homes are severely damaged this morning, after a driver plows her car through neighbor's living room. and then into her own home. the bucks county crash happened just before 5:00 last night on indian road in levittown. police say the woman reversed her car into her neighbor's home, then tried to correct herself by putting the car in drive. she smashed into her own house across the street.

that's where family member was inside. >> i really didn't believe it, when he called me, told me. i am thought he was joking with me, said a car went through your house, i really didn't believe him until my neighbor told me, oh, man, dan, you will need a new house, ya, really devastating moment. i had to rush home, come home to this. >> now the driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. thankfully, no one else was seriously hurt, while police investigate, they plan to see if alcohol played a factor in that crash. president-elect donald trump continues his post-election thank you tour in orlando today. thousands of supporters came to hershey, pa, science center last night, to hear mr. trump and vice president elect, mike pence. they are the first republican presidential tickets to win since 1988. see mr. trump last night brought some of his supporters to tears. he had encouraging words for the state's labor force. >> whether it is building cars, producing steel, or curing disease, we want the

partnering in announcing plans for a new high school. the housing authority is buying the vaux building from the district for about $2 million. the building will be renovated and opened next year. the school will enroll up to 054 student, big picture learning will run the school. >> washington, paying big time for personal fouls that left two eagles injured on sunday. everett clocked brent celek on punt return, block and also knocked darren sproles out of the game. the nfl has decided to fine him total of $48,000. everett says he plans to appeal. >> well santa claus and few other made visit to the red cross' annual children's holiday party. >> "eyewitness news" was there last night for the festivities at the red cross on chestnut street in philadelphia. this year's party included almost 400 families, affected by fire and disaster in 2016. the kids enjoyed food, dancing, games and santa, of

>> back now on "eyewitness news", police officer is in critical condition this morning, after he shot in the head in washington state. this happened last night, in mount vernon, sit bye 6 miles north of seattle. police were responding to a call about a man who had been shot when the gunman began shooting at police. sixty-one year old officer was struck in the head.

the office ever was returned to the hospital. the suspect then barricaded himself inside of a home where police believe he may have had hostages. well, a dangerous situation comes to a halt. that was earlier this month, as police received calls for a student with a gun at an utah junior high school. now there is officer arrived to find a boy dress in the all black, pinned against the wall by his own parent. the 15 year old came to school allegedly with ammo and several guns. police were called after he fired a shot into the ceiling of his science class, the boy has since been charged with several felonies, thankfully, no one was hurt. >> teachers in beaver county, have been credit the with saving the life of a family. teachers in ambridge were picketing early yesterday morning, a woman started shouting to call 911. four teachers immediately dropped their signs and renee cross the street into a burning house. smoke was pouring out of the roof.

the front door had to be kicked open. never run into a building before that was on fire. >> wouldn't have been here, somebody wouldn't have got that, but a chance somebody could have been very seriously injured or worse. >> now the teachers helped an elderly couple and woman escape from the flames. the cause of the fire is unknown. >> well the newest movie in the star wars franchise is getting out, and it is getting tons of thumbs-up. >> a lot of excitement about this one. rogue one, star wars story, debuted in over 4,000 theatres last night. the spin-off pre quill, group of rebels trying to steel the plans, and the film gives the saga its first ever female lead. exciting change for many fans. i think a lot of people are taking their daughters. >> i don't think it will ever get old for me. as long as they keep putting out new stuff with explosions. >> leading in the film is actress, phyllis at this jones, experts say rogue one could make $150 million this

moisture with it, so, over night tonight, into tomorrow, warmfront lift in first. but, because we've got so much cold air, just at the stage for it, you will see this start off as snow. bit of modification as to what we were talking about since yesterday t looks right now like only the northern half of the delaware valley start off with snow, in the early morning hours, during delaware, southern new jersey, you may not see one flake of snow until couple of hours later. soap, maybe 4:00, 5:00 in the morning, when pre zip starts to fill in. so, by that point, you're coming up at least slow sunrise, may not have a lot of time to accumulate much. may end up with up to inch around the city, but it will get washed away by turn-over of sleet and freezing rain for short time. then plane rain. and that goes for everyone, even up to the mountains, that warmth will over spread. you'll catch a break on saturday night, then sunday morning, cold front sweeps through here. it is very warm, in advance of it, though, so i don't think you have to worry about anything but rain. so even if we do manage to
