story for >> reporter: good morning. two deadly crashes have one driver under arrest and now police are looking for another driver. right now police tell us that the car they're looking for is a dark colored sedan that hit and killed a 66-year-old woman. sofia austerveska had the right of way crossing the street and police believer the driver ran a red light, slammed into her and left her in the street to die. people are outraged. >> he's a low life. how could you leave anyone on the street to die? >> at least stop and deal with what happened. >> reporter: as for the other crash last night around 9:45, 61-year-old john sateren of brooklyn killed. he popped out between two cars and was hit by a driver. that driver although had a suspended license so he
was arrested immediately. as for that hit and run in this area, we know that there are red light cameras in the area, that speeding dar -- car may have been caught on video. police are investigating the video. >> thank you. a judge was attack in brooklyn and police are hoping surveillance video will help them find the person of interest. the 60-year-old was walking in sheep head's bay when a man pushed him into a tree. the judge was not seriously hurt. police do not believe the judge was targeted because of his job. 4:38. a water main break will be heading for commuters heading to the subway station. water started erupting from hawkins avenue and portion road. the flooding collapsed part of

we'll look at temperatures that will be warmer today. we're starting out around 58 degrees. what a surprise, just been warm over the last few days. we'll be even warmer weather today. we'll get into the 60s. up the hudson river we're looking at 56 around kingston to newburgh. we should be about 42 around the five boroughs to 32 here north and west. it's really warm. it's warm air ahead of a cold front that's spreading east ward. here's the front we're talking about. it's back to our west but the clouds are out ahead of it. here's the front itself. there's rain all along that. this will keep sliding east ward today and eventually that's going to get to us around 11:00 in western jersey and noontime for the city. the rain starts to build and get heavier by lunchtime. we'll be at 64 degrees this afternoon. it's windy and wet today. this first
front moves through with the rain, the second front moves through tonight and tomorrow with cooler air. it's drier air into friday and cooler air for saturday. it gets down right chilly sunday into monday as the temperatures start to rebound next week just in time for thanksgiving. holiday travel will be great in the east, fair in the midsection but if you have to travel from here to here wednesday before thanksgiving you will get slowed down as you try to get to the pacific increasing clouds, some rain and it's going to be spotty rain and drizzle tonight that. will end after midnight. then we'll look at sunshine returning on friday, breezy and 56 degrees tomorrow, 52 saturday and 50 on sunday. look at monday that's a little brisk and chilly at 46. we're going to be seeing what will be warmer weather as we go into tuesday, we 52 on wednesday, which is normal. that's a great travel day.

building in akron. just before the crash another pilot radioed the plane to say the weather made landing very difficult. all nine people on the plane died in the crash. a texas town had three people injured by a monkey running wild. cell phone video makes the monkey look pretty cute as he edges his way across the patio and into the door of a home. people liked him and fed him and liked him a lot. after that things went south. see the little monkey? it bit an 84-year-old woman and she's in the hospital. the monkey also attacked two other people. bad monkey. >> i saw a monkey running around. i don't know where it came from or what. i just tried to help him it and got bit. >> you got bit? >> yeah. >> where? >> in my finger but it's not much. it's all right. >> see what end

long island railroad, metro north, new jersey transit running on our close to schedule. george washington bridge inbound upper level that earlier construction cleared away. we have the lincoln tunnel with minor injuries and the holland tunnel with minor delays. northbound said exit 16 up to 17 you have a delay. they're doing some repaving so it looks like they're trying to get that completed. bqe northeast, the ramp to the brooklyn bridge is closed down. the brooklyn bridge remains closed into the city in the 6:00 a.m. new developments over night in france after the deadly attacks in paris almost one week ago. a french official confirms to abc news that a man suspected of involvement has turned himself in. >> the french prime minister the warning that terrorists could use temperature cal and biological weapons in future

there's been a deadly tripped stabbing inside the bronx in saint james park last night. police say 21-year-old henry lau was one stabbed and he died at the hospital. a 15-year-old boy and 19-year-old man are recovering. the attacker remains on the loose. it's 5:13. it's sentencing day for the man who was once the face of the subway restaurant chain jared fogle. in august the former subway spokesman pleaded guilty to child sex and porn charge. they carry a maximum sentence of 50 years behind bars. his attorneys are seeking a 5-year deal. a 27-year-old will be in
court after being accused of going on a drunken joyride. ronald desir said he picked up two women last friday in chelsea. he said after getting into the cab kinga tabares and her friends gave him several destinations. he said they were drunk so he came to the 13th prestikt. >> on the way out with the police officer they stole the car. >> tabares climbed into the driver's seat and took off with the cab. she was stopped five blocks away. she now faces grand larceny and drunk driving charges. it's 5:14. let's check in with bill and you accuweather forecast. >> we take a look from radar and let you know when the rain is right now, when it's coming and when it will get here. the rain from buffalo to syracuse and across state college and down into maryland and west virginia. that will be sliding east ward today. ahead of it

the nation are rejecting syrian refugees connecticut governor donald malloy is standing firm in his stance by taking in a syrian family. governor malloy personally greeted the refugee family at their new home in new haven yesterday. the family was supposed to resettle in indiana be n -- but that state said the family was no longer welcome. that's when governor malloy stepped up and welcomed the syrian couple and their 5-year-old son to the state. >> i told them that people in the united states are generous and good people but sometimes

police are looking for a dark colored sedan that hit and killed a 66-year-old woman. sofia astravaesko had the right of way crossing the street and police believer the driver ran a red light, slammed into her and left her in the street to die. people are outraged. >> he's a low life. low life. how could you leave anybody on the street to die? >> at least stop and deal with what happened. >> reporter: get this, last night around 9:45 a 61-year-old man, john saldren of brooklyn, was killed. he popped out two cars and was hit by a lincoln mk suburban. that driver was arrested for having a suspended license. as for the hit and
