police are releasing a photo of a man seen leaving this area earlier this morning. here is the photo. it was taken by somebody who lives near the house and saw the man peeling out. the man is wanted, a person of interest in at least this most recent fire. this fire happened around 12:30 this morning. all these fires happened at construction sites. again, this property, you are looking at was set on fire last month. thankfully no one was hurt in any of these incidents. again, these are vacant properties. the fire this morning on 69th road rose to two alarms. people are stunned that this happened again. >> with all the other houses believe it. this one caught fire before already or now it seems like someone set this one on fire before. >> reporter: this is the sixth arson that happened in forest

now to a terror investigation in london. witnesses captured the incident on their cell phone. a man armed with a knife attacked three people including a person slashed in the neck. everybody is expected to be okay. police officers used a taser to take the suspect down and arrest him. there are reports the manmade attack. this latest incident comes as police in california try to find more answers behind the attack in san bernardino. president obama will give a speech from the oval office talking about the matt shooting. we are learning new information about the two shooters and how they obtained some of their weapons. eyewitness news anchor sandra bookman has that story. >> reporter: still so many questions in california. but this new video showing the fbi raiding a house in riverside could answer where the assault rifles used in the san bernardino massacre came from.

the california attacks calling malik and farook isis supporters further indicating isis inspired the couple and did not direct them. authorities believe malik was the mastermind leaving her family baffled. >> think about your kid. >> reporter: sandra bookman, channel 7 eyewitness news. in a speech tonight, the president will address terrorism and his plans to defeat it. that speech is at 8:00. we will have it here on channel 7. rob? this latest mass murder has, again, triggered a renewed call for stricter gun control laws. in the midst of that, the president of liberty university called on students to get permits to carry a concealed weapon so they are prepared in case of a mass shooting. politicians on both sides fueled this ongoing american debate. >> the tragedy that we just had

except the bad guys. >> you have to strengthen and expand instant background checks. >> president obama also weighed in during his weekly address. he talked about how people on the no fly list, the people that we don't let in our planes can legally still buy a gun in the u.s. that is something he would like to change. the white house is trying to build momentum for congressional action on gun control and is considering possible executive orders on gun controls as well. local lawmakers in new york are trying to curb gun violence. in brooklyn a buy back program took about 60 guns off the streets. it was in flatbush. a handgun or assault rifle could be exchanged for a $200 bank card. rifles, shotguns and air guns got a $25 card each.

no cold in sight. next weekend could be warmer than this weekend. potentially record breaking temperatures. that's the kind of pattern we are in. the cold air remains locked up to the north. the polar vortex cannot come south. what that means is that the steering winds will allow for mild conditions. high pressure is in control. not only with mild temperatures coming in, we have no storms to talk about. the next one coming in from the plains and the upper midwest, that will not have enough energy or good timing enough to keep the coastal storm in close. that will be just winds will get strong off cape hatteras. high pressure is in control. things are good. 54, mostly sunny and mild. temperatures tomorrow in the low 50s, well above average. through monday it's looking good. clouds increase tuesday and we track showers i think mainly on long island. an offshore system. expect temperatures in the low to mid-50s. mostly sunny and mild.

teller he was armed with a bomb. one officer fired when the suspect threatened him with a straight razor. an eyewitness that caught it on his cell phone said police were trying to calm the man down for about five minutes before the shooting. >> officers were giving him direction, trying to calm him down for a good amount of time. they gave him enough opportunity to -- opportunity to surrender. >> investigators say one of the officers involved was wearing a body camera and video will be looked at by police and cannot yet be released to the public. planned parenthood supporters came together in light of the deadly shooting in the colorado clinic. dozens gathered for the national day of solidarity. they showed support for planned parenthood and the three people killed more than a week ago in colorado springs.

kristin thorne, channel 7 eyewitness news. >> all right, kristin, thank you very much. a really bizarre story. a connecticut man is accused of stealing human remains saying it was for religious he was arrested after police say they found the remains of five people inside his hartford apartment. investigators say the bodies date back as far as 1904 and appear to have been stolen from a cemetery in massachusetts. he said he was a priest who will use the remains for religious purposes. >> we see this rarely in hartford. when we do, it's generally with animals. >> i hope the person pays the price for this type of thing going on. >> hartford investigators say they are working with police in massachusetts to make sure that

where they belong and to see if anyone else is involved in this. suffolk police are investigating a deadly hit and run that involved several drivers. they say an s.u.v. hit a man crossing route 12 in patchogue. the 64-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. the driver who hit him stopped but three other cars hit the man. two others kept going. police are looking for a recent model dark-colored hyundai elan tray or ford taurus. a bronx woman accused of killing a pregnant women then removing the baby from her womb was arraigned. ashleigh wade pled not guilty to the charges including murder, manslaughter and weapons possession. prosecutors say she stabbed angelique sutton then cut out her child last month. wade has been ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.

community leaders in harlem paid contribute to an nypd officer killed in the line of duty, detective randolph holder. he was the officer shot chasing a suspect in east harlem in october. holder's father says the community has helped his family make it through these difficult months. >> nypd and new york city is amazing. >> money raised from that gala will help detective holder's family. >> good to know they are getting support. that is, after what they have endured. >> never forget. >> absolutely not. four in the last year that we lost. prayers and thoughts go out to all those families. coming up, we will lighten the mood a little bit. this is toni's favorite story of the day.

the record is 71 back in 2011. this is the year, 2011 that we had the warmest november. so, last month we tied that record, 2011, 2015 warmest novembers ever. in that year, 2011 we had five inches of snow. that doesn't guarantee a mild winter around here but interesting to look at the facts. warm novembers, what do they lead to. temperatures in the low 50s could be the ending point for us. we will go for 54 for the high. some spots could get warmer. influence of southwest winds. i wouldn't be surprised if we were pushing 56, 57 in parts of new jersey. cold air locked up north. where is the polar vortex? it's stuck where it lives up in the pole. satellite and radar picture,

police in the uk are investigating a stabbing in a london underground station as a terrorist incident. three people were hurt, one seriously when a suspect began attacking people inside the station in east london last night. a man was taken in to custody at the scene. there are reports from eyewitnesses that the attacker shouted quote, this is for syria. this comes days after british lawmakers voted to approve military air strikes against isis targets in syria. president obama will address the nation from the oval office tonight to talk about the terror attacks in san bernardino, california. the investigation in california lead police to a home in riverside yesterday. next door to the home where suspect syed farook used to live. sources say someone who lives in that home may have been the person who bought the assault rifles used by farook and his wife.

site was set on fire on november 15th. i want to show you with less of it now, this residential sight on 69th road in forest hills, that seems to be the suspect m.o. setting residential construction sites on fire. now we have a picture of the man considered a person of interest in at least this most recent fire, a person that lives in the neighborhood snapped a picture of this guy fleeing from the scene earlier this morning. take a look at that picture. if you know the person or keep an eye out for him, the nypd is looking to speak to him. he fled from the scene earlier this morning. the video shows intense flames around 12:30 a.m. this goes to show you these fires are not small fires. these are large. these are dangerous fires. the property you are seeing was also set on fire on november 15th. in this fire that happened overnight, the fire rose to two

pilot to make an emergency landing. they landed safely without a scratch but the same cannot be said for the plane. >> i hate it when my private plane gets banged up. hate that. a connecticut man, strange story, is accused of stealing religious ceremonies. he was arrested after police say they found the remains of five people inside his hartford apartment. investigators say the bodies date back as far as 1904 and appear to have been stolen from a cemetery in massachusetts. he told police he is a priest who was going to use the remains for religious purposes. >> we see this rarely in hartford. when we do, it's generally with animals. >> i hope the person who -- paid the price for this type of thing going on.

massachusetts to make sure the remains are returned to where they belong and see if anyone else is involved in this. a bronx woman accused of removing a baby from a woman's room was arraigned in her hospital room. ashleigh wade pled not guilty to the charges including murder, manslaughter and weapons possession. prosecutors say she stabbed angelique sutton and cut out the child. wade is being held without bail and ordered to undergo a psychiatric investigation. a hit and run involving several drivers. an s.u.v. hit a man crossing route 12 in patchogue yesterday morning. the 64-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. the driver who hit him stopped but then three other cars hit the man. two of the drivers kept going. police are looking for a recent model dark-colored hyundai

the suspect told the teller he was armed with a bomb. investigators say one officer fired when the suspect threatened him with a straight razor. an eyewitness news that caught the whole thing on his cell phone say police were trying to calm the man down for about five minutes before the shooting. >> officers were giving him direction, put down the weapon, calm down, we are on your side, trying to help you. they tried to calm him down for a good amount of time. they gave him enough opportunity to surender. >> one of the officers involved was wearing a body camera. video will be looked at by police but cannot be released to the public. we are seeing video this morning of an out of control moment at the university of houston. fans rushed the field to celebrate houston's win over temple university. a security guard can be seen wrestling a fan to the ground.

a string of arsons in one community. >> eyewitness news reporter kristin thorne is live in forest hills with the new developments. hi, kristin. >> hi, rob and toni. six fires in this string of arsons. i want to show you what is left after the most recent one. this is in forest hills. this is the sixth residential construction fire in forest hills since november th. this these the second time this property has been set on fire. the nypd has released a picture of the man they are looking for in connection to at least this most recent fire. someone in the neighborhood snapped a picture of this guy peeling out from the scene last night. here is video from the flames. it was beginning to spread to nearby homes until 150 firefighters were able to put it out. thank fully no one has been hurt in any of the fires. if you would like to take another look at the picture of
