president obama vowed to overnight, we've been up gathering information about big breaking news from norfolk. investigators tell us, they've been on the scene of a meth bust at a home on templar boulevard. that's off chesapeake boulevard in the bayview neighborhood. let's get right to 10 on your side's rico bush who's been on the scene since the wee hours of the morning. investigation tell me several people are in police custody after the meth bust. we are about to show you some video of you the faces of the agents to protect the investigation. overnight, d-e-a agents and norfolk police ransacked the home on templar boulevard and found several items to helped them put forward a case against the residents. officers pried open a

seized most of the materials in it. according to a neighbor in the area, who didn't want to go on camera, undercover agents surrounded the home around 9 last night. they busted down the door down and barged inside of the home. we're told undercover agents detained several people and placed a pet from the home into their custody. following the drug bust, a source tells us hazmat crews found several chemicals used to make meth - you can see in this video only captured by 10 on your side, several crews carefully storing and cleaning up the hazardous materials, then condemning the home. we are working to find out what else police discovered inside the house and if they seized any money related to the investigation. we are also looking into possible charges the residents maybe facing. we'll keep you posted that information once we find out. live in norfolk, rico bush, 10 on your side.

local restaurants. local four legged officers will get some help from journalist anderson cooper. we're getting this news just days after norfolk's police k-9 krijger died. a local organization called "spikes k-9 fund" says cooper will buy all the dogs on the force bullet-proof vests. cooper donated the money from his speaking fee for

forum." that's scheduled for january 26th. he gave the money to the k-9 krijger ballistic vest campaign. his donation will provide vets for all police dogs in norfolk, as well as vests for others in hampton roads. police officers will say their goodbyes to krijger next week. a gunman shot and killed him during a stand off sunday night on land street. police shot that suspect, keith richardson. he died on tuesday. norfolk police department scheduled krijger's funeral for tuesday at the police k-9 range. the dog will be buried in virginia beach. the ceremony is private, but you are welcome to pay tribute along the procession route. today we expect police to release more information on the double homicide that led to an officer shooting a suspect in newport news. the chaos began around 11 yesterday morning when a van crashed into a truck on wickham avenue, near 14th street. police found two men shot to death inside that van. witnesses reported seeing two other men run from the scene.

again from the eastern shore. governor terry mcauliffe announced the new deal nasa made with orbital a- t-k. the contract comes more than a year after a rocket exploded after a launch on wallops island. no one was hurt, but the blast damaged the spaceport. the next launch is scheduled for late may or june. the virginia aquarium is caring cold- stunned sea turtles. crews rescued a cold green sea turtle from kiptopeke state park this week. they said the turtle came with a body temperature of 48 degrees. it's the second cold-stunned sea turtle they've rescued this season. the stranding response team is slowly warming this guy up. c0014 14;06;59 these guys are cold blooded so they're very sensitive to their environment -- that's when they end up getting

if you see a struggling turtle this winter, call the stranding response team right away. they say it may appear dead at first, so you should call no matter northwest china is partially frozen over. chinese state television says its the first time they can remember this happening. you can see chunks of ice slowly floating down the river. water between these blocks is causing the ice to squeeze against each other. officials warned people nearby to stay away from the dangerous river. from downtown norfolk and newport news for you on h-r- scene-dot-com. we have new information about a deadly terrorist attack in indonesia. investigators say they retrieved an isis flag from the home of one of the suspects. we told you yesterday morning as breaking news, isis claimed responsibility. police arrested three men linked to the blasts in jakarta. five men attacked a starbucks in the country's capitol. seven people died, including the five suspects. a ski trip turned deadly in japan. officials say a tour bus carrying 41 people went off a mountain round and crashed. 14 people died and 27 others were hurt. two of the drivers on the trip were among the dead. the bus was on its way to a ski resort in central japan. there was no snow or ice on the road at the time of the crash. the government said it would investigate what caused it. stay with us, we have another update to breaking news in our next five minutes.

new this morning nasa released pictures of possible ice volcanoes on pluto. take a look. this is an image a spacecraft took last year after it passed by pluto. scientists say it shows a possible "cryo-volcano" on the surface. nasa says it's about 90 miles across and two-point-five miles high. if it is proven to be a volcano, it would be the largest discovered in the outer solar system. nasa is celebrating another milestone. an orbiter called juno will explore jupiter this year. right it has traveled farther away from the sun than any other solar-powered spacecraft. nasa

2011. it broke the distance record yesterday when it reached 493 million miles away from the sun. juno is supposed to begin flying by jupiter on the fourth of july this year. these blurry white dots are no ordinary stars. astronomers say these may be the biggest and brightest supernova ever observed. they say the explosion was 570 billion times brighter than our sun. if you are wondering why the picture is blurry, these stars are in another galaxy, four billion light years away
