rain is likely to start out. you can see some showers and thunderstorms coming out of frederick and they are heading over towards baltimore within the hour. in the western suburbs, you may hear some thunder with this rain. i think it will clear up during the middle of the day. the storms may come back late in the afternoon. high temperature near 80. we will check the seven-day forecast going all the way into the weekend. >> good morning. once the rain arrives, we will see what happens on the road. 61 through the parkville region. problem free over towards the west side down towards 70. the major roads are doing well and that includes 97 through the glen burnie area. 95 looks pretty good down
towards howard county 32. this is baltimore national pike. so far and looks good on the west side. the j.f.x. through the construction zone, no sign of any delays. no sign of any cars as you make your way north and southbound out of the city. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> the war of words continues to escalate between president obama and mitt romney. >> they are at odds over the upcoming anniversary of marking the death of osama bin laden. the rhetoric is wrenching ups -- ratcheting up. >> president hit back on charges of excessive celebration on the anniversary.

county appeared not a lot happening on the eastern suburbs. this is all moving from the west to the east. everybody will get some rain to start the day. this is the first batch of rain that will come through today. here is the first batch we are experiencing. rain should taper off later this morning. in other line of thunderstorms from st. louis will visit us late in the afternoon or this evening. we will get another batch of rain. the weather should be ok in the middle of the day. we'll get some sunshine. that will make the temperatures jump. we are nearer 60. 59 at the airport. we'll be close to 80 this afternoon. maybe the low 80's. 76 to 81 for the temperature
