some are against it and while others believe at times it can be an effective discipline. >> on this sunny afternoon, there is little to complain about. the children are enjoying a day in the park while their parents and sitters patiently looking after them. what happens when that patience runs out. the child misbehaved and it is time to discipline. this principal chose to paddle a five years old student in georgia and it has sparked a new debate. >> i remember my mother and father running after me and giving me a slap, yes, of course. now, we would never do that to our grandchildr1qgñ >> i never did it and my husband never did it and i don't think my children is doing it. >> let the parents deal with it. i don't think they should be spanking in schools. >> what about at home? >> um -- well, that's tough. >> for some, spanking has root in their culture.

and 20 minutes of non stop news continues now with police rushing to help after a deadly cra crash. four cars collided on route 70 west near sam pitts road. >> nbc 10 reports. he joins live here that scene, ted greenberg. >> reporter: jackie, route 70 is back opened again after five hours. it killed a burlington county man and thrust the officer. >> these ocean county police academy recruits sprang into action. >> i went over the aid. >> robert and vincent were among

the recruits in about ten cars lined up to go in the firing range on route 70 around this morning. one of their cars was rear-ended. that touched off a chain reaction crash involving four vehicles. a man who caused the initial collision was thrown from his car. the recruits found him on the ground unconscious. >> we began to give chest compression and i took over. >> i was there to help. my first reaction was there to help him and that was my main goal. >> several additional recruits rushed to check on people in the other cars involved. they suffered minor injuries. manchester officers and ems crews arrived. efforts to arrive the live less man, the 21 years old were not successful. >> it is something that you have to be prepared to see. i feel that i am fairly prepared to be exposed to that. >> this is as real as it is going to get for what they're going to facee%.?ñ everyday in

police found description matching morales. authority charged the 62 years old with murder and other related charges. atlantic city made a partial payment to public school systems from closing. >> the mayor tells us the city pays half of nearly $8.5 million that they owed to school. atlantic city is on the urge of running out money. decision of 2016. the primary is drawing closer. the keystone state is coming to focus. hillary clinton will make a stop next wednesday here in philadelphia. >> meanwhile, bernie sanders, is at the vatican, he's attending a conference on social and economic environmental issues. the trip comes four days. sanders left for the vatican hours after the heated debate.c

wilmington and redding, all temperatures will be warmer. last week we had snow and rain and this week, we'll have plenty of sunshine and see how much warmer each weekend day is than last weekend. atlantic city, mid-60s by sunday and you compare that to near 50 degrees last sunday. wilmington at 71, you compare that to near 50 degrees last sunday. the warm-up is a big ,@tstory. we'll be close to 80 degrees. today is warmer than yesterday. temperatures across the area is mid-60s. philadelphia is 67 degrees. wilmington at 58. dover at 61. across the board currently, mid to low 60s. it is looking really nice across the area and even nice and dry. here is a look at the radar, we have no rain headed our way and we don't expect any rain until the end of next week believe it or not. if we really take a closer look

code, how about violating the human conduct code. you don't do this to kids. >> what kind of impact can this punishment have on children? >> it could have a lot of impact and years of researched on this. >> corporal punishment should not be allowed in any schools in this country or homes. it could lead to aggression as the kid gets older. for so4f$p it could lead to depression and it is been associated with mental illness. so, you know, it is cohearse of child a lesson to use violent to get something. they're going to use violence against the child to get the child conform to school. ñ learning this concept of violent. we don't want kids doing that. we got too much aggression and mental illness in america.
