good morning, krystal. >> good morning, today's forecast looks similar to yesterday. we're talking upper 80s, low 90s. hot, but dry. notre below uncomfortable, but not going to say it is perfect with the temperatures above average. we should be about the mid 80s. as we look around the region, there will be shore relief again. we're going to see today some of the sea breezes kick up, as a result, more moisture, but temperatures not as hot as the interior. looking ahead, more meet does continue into monday and even the days to come. in fact, we're talking a heat waive in the forecast for us today, day three of 90 degree temperatures, making it the official sixth heat wave. right now, 63, philadelphia, 71, we do see upper 50s, and lancaster, 64, atlantic city,

>> reporter: that's right, they're going to be hitting the payment here, and i'm at the starting point. you can see organizers are working back there. they're putting up banners. they're also getting their registration material together. this is what we found at about 4:30 this morning. police had moved into this block. they were towing cars, and they told us they posted signs yesterday but people ignored them. police are knocking on doors, lefting folks know their cars had to be off the streets, as the race is about to begin. this is the course. 6.2 miles of city streets, starting at 8th and seattle weaving through many neighborhoods, 12th and 13th, to snyder and finishing up at 6th and south. the 10k festival follows the

welcome back. we're taking a look outside. obviously the sun not quite up yet. this is a live look in philadelphia, looking out at center city. today, conditions similar to yesterday, meaning we're not worried about the humidity and we're also watching the temperatures crank back into the upper 80s and lower 90 st. let's track it. here is the planner. starting with philadelphia, 73 at 8:00 a.m., by noon, 85, and then upper 80 st by 4:00 p.m. forecast high, right into the low 90s. we're talking temperatures making day three of 90s another heat wave. 8:00 a.m., 83, sunny conditions out there, new high level clouds overall, plenty of sunshine to go around. lehigh valley, the same, to kick off your morning. delaware, 72 your temperature at 8:00 a.m.

temperatures right now in parts of philadelphia. 68, north, 66, park side, 71. airport, 71. mid 70s, brewerytown, 72. fox chase, still at 69. lower 60s and upper 60s for park wood. not a bad start this morning. good news, just like yesterday, today, we are not looking at high humid. let's talk more temperatures, going from philadelphia over now to some of our jersey shore neighbors. atlantic city, 75. hit a high of 88 yesterday. denn dennis township, 66. could see patchy fog in new jersey, heads up there, it will be burning off as we continue your morning hours and start to heat up the air temperature. your radar and satellite, clear

conditions for the region otherwise, not tracking any higher level clouds, any rain for us. you see clouds to the west, but again, not going to be affecting our forecast this sunday. instead, what we're looking at is heat wave number six. this has been a very hot august for us and it looks like it will end very hot and above average. normal is 84. that's the dotted yellow line you see way down here. instead, friday, saturday, we hit 93 degrees. today, 90 for the forecast. 91 your monday, tuesday, and still 90 on wednesday. so really looking at temperatures that do not change much here consistently through midweek, then the big drop. thursday, 84. friday at 80 degrees. much better off, dipping below what is typical to kick off the start of september. hour-by-hour forecast, dry out there as we start your sunday, we go through lunch hour here, you see some clouds that are hanging over near harrisburg,
